Pretty self-explanatory if you're mechanically inclined. If not, it is straightforward to replace the old carburetor. Adjustment is not needed as this a lawn mower. Pros; includes different gasket types however it should be the same for all GXV160 engines. The kit also includes an air filter, spark plug and fuel hose. For the price of <$20 you cant beat it. Cons: However I don't recommend using the included fuel hose as it is way to short, spark plug hex head may affect how the wire will attach onto the terminal. Rarely do you need to do these adjustments/replacement's however the carburetor started up just fine and responded to the throttle correctly as it should. Good alternative instead of buying a $50-100+ OEM Honda carburetor to do the same thing. Will update accordingly.

Carburetor worked great and was very easy to change out. The air filter in my mower was open in the middle whereas the one that was shipped to me was not it has a solid metal center on it. Definitely recommend the carburetor.

This carb kit was very easy to install and was a perfect fit for my Honda HR214 mower. I needed to fine-tune it to run with the choke off without dying. I live at 5000 ft elevation, so the air is a little thinner than sea level. The replacement fuel line wasn't long enough to fit from the carb to the tank, but everything else fit perfectly.

At first I thought the package I received was lacking the 3 gaskets. I was wrong. Everything in the photo listed on the ad was there. I had to take a moment and determine installation order of the new gaskets, but upon figuring that out, I installed the new carb. The new fuel line worked fine, except at the gas tank side, it wasn't the right size ( slightly smaller than the outlet of the tank ) so I just reused the old line from tank to the filter. I also noticed the gas shutoff valve is backwards of the original shutoff, but no biggie, I just noted it in sharpie by the valve. Upon filling up the gas and letting it flow, I had to prime the engine about 4 pulls. Then I choked the engine and it fired right up! I was shocked! Idle works fine, mid range rpm works fine, and full throttle works fine. NO ADJUSTMENT NECESSARY! Actually, I don't even know if you can adjust the carb. I should have looked further into it.So far it's well worth the money. We'll see how long it lasts, I'm crossing my fingers.

Simply remove the old one and replace with the new one. Cheaper than a carburetor kit and simple to install. Mower started up immediately. Works great

I have an early 80’s Honda HR194. Its more of a collection piece for me but i still used it until it crapped out. Hard starts, no starts, fired up and immediately shut off. after testing everything it came down to the carb. im in landscape so i know whats worth doing to these machines. i didnt want to take it to my repair shop since i have many other mowers to use but i still wanted this old Honda to function. i did a quick google and this carb kit popped up. dirt cheap. shipped FAST. arrived with EVERYTHING AS ADVERTISED and it took about 15-30 to install. no adjustments and it fired right up as soon as it filled with fuel. 100% worth the money. Ive used it many times since and hasnt let me down. I would definitely recommend this carb kit and would buy it again.

I didn't find out until I finally took it to my lawn mower repair shop in mid November. I wasted a lot of time thinking i did something wrong. Also replaced the coil, fuel line and a broken drive clutch spring. I picked up a bad virus and finally got around to contacting the shop and they ordered a new one from Honda. They also commented that approximately 7% of the Amazon replacement carburetors are found to be defective. My return window was only one month (Sept. 28, 2024). I am a "DIY" guy so it took me a long time with this repair.
