L'Oreal Paris Makeup Infallible Up to 32 Hour Fresh Wear Lightweight Foundation, 455 Natural Buff, 1 Fl Oz, Packaging May Vary

I’m someone who rarely wore makeup. I didn’t like the way it felt on my face and I only wore it on special occasions. However, I’m over 45 now and have a few freckles and dark spots and thought I should start a skincare and makeup routine.I ran into problems trying to find a shade match in the beauty store. After doing a lot of swatching at the beauty store and finding some foundations that seemed close, I was disappointed that one of the better marching ones oxidized and turned orange/bronze on me after a few hours. I tried again with Nyx Blur and L’Oreal Infalliable. The Nyx was terrible on my skin. Wrong shade, but it also looked weird - runny and patchy. The L’Oreal Infalliable 460 Golden Beige was very close, but just a hair orangey to me after wearing it. I decided to go a shade down and switched to a neutral undertone rather than warm, because this foundation was perfect in every other way - it had less oxidation than the previous Maybelline powder foundation I tried, it had better coverage (medium to full), and it was soft and light on my skin. I took a chance and ordered the 455 Natural Buff. I’m in love!!This is the closest shade match I’ve found. I put it on my face and it looked good. I decided to try some on my neck, which can sometimes look slightly lighter than my face, and the makeup on my neck was almost imperceptible from my skin. When I showed my partner my makeup and sent photos to my best friend, both said the foundation looked exactly like my skin and it didn’t look like I was wearing makeup. The quality of the makeup is good. There is a very slight tackiness to it, but it’s not unpleasant. It also seems more hydrating compared to the Nyx makeup. It’s also easy to build up. I can wear it as medium coverage with one coat or full coverage if I layer more on. When I use two coats, it looks very nice and smooth in photos.I would happily buy this again and recommend it to others. This is probably the best quality of makeup I’ve used, apart from a brief period of using bare minerals. And I like that L’Oreal offers a nice shade range so it’s easier to find your matching color.Having fair, olive-toned skin can be hard to find the right match for!

Literally the only foundation I use since high school ! It last up to 8 hours !

I think this is my third or fourth time buying this exact same foundation. It works well for me. I'd say full coverage, but not too thick. Never had any irritation. I wear it over a moisturizer. I don't use any powder, just this and some concealer when needed.

I give it a four, the only reason is that when you wipe your nose with a tissue the makeup does come off. Other than that I five it a 5. Thank you

I am not sure I will ever buy another drugstore foundation again! This foundation has replaced my other foundations and I no longer feel the need to purchase high end foundation (though I love my It Cosmetics CC cream too much to stop using). It leaves my skin looking fresh.This foundation is the perfect mix of the Infallible Pro-Matte and Infallible Pro-Glow. Which for me I did not like either of those by themselves, but mixed together they weren't so bad. I love the lightweight feel of L'Oréal Paris Makeup Infallible up to 24HR Fresh Wear Liquid Longwear Foundation, it is medium coverage, but can be built up if needed. I have used both a foundation brush and beauty blender to apply it and it looks great both ways.The color match is perfect for me and looks like I have almost nothing on. I have found that if I wear it alone it stays put better than if I wear it with powder over it (I rarely powder my whole face, because I have dry skin). My Shape Tape lays beautifully on top, as does the new L'Oreal Infallible Full Wear concealer and the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer. Contour, bronzer and blush and even highlight layer beautifully as well. I can not wait to see how this holds up during the hot, humid summers here in the south.

So I love L'Oreal products but this foundation has an orange tint to it. I can use it for Halloween but that's about it.Texture/consistency is nice, easy to apply but will not use.

I've been using the same foundation for years. The past year or so, it's become increasingly difficult to find my color or even a shade lighter or darker. It's gotten to be a bit ridiculous. So I decided to try a few other foundations. I received this 1 yesterday. I'm wearing it today. Coverage is nice. I like the color I ordered. So far, my only issue is that it smells very strongly. It's like a artificial floral fragrance. I do not like that at all. I'll update this review as the day goes by. Hopefully it stays put. If you can get past the smell, it's a good foundation.UPDATE: I love this foundation! I've even worn it to the trampoline park and jumped for 90 minutes, and this stuff didn't budge! Will update again after I see how it holds up this summer. That's the real test.
