It's about 1 inch. I haven't found any wider so I make my own now and use the ends to attach. Hope that helps.

Q: is the item easy to use?

Very easy. You just clip it to the "ears" of your bag or sleeve and adjust it up to where you feel it comfortable.

Q: Can this be attached to any pouch or does it need a pouch with a built in adapter?

I think you could attach it to the coloplast pouches but it might not stay put very well. Each brand has different shaped holes.

Q: Is this belt latex free?

It's just elastic and plastic so I don't think there would be any latex. Maybe call Hollister for a sure answer. They have a toll free # on the internet.
