Greetings,My cat required knee surgery and three long drives to a specialist vet hospital. My old carrier was getting to be a tight fit with the plastic door hinges questionable.This new carrier is larger for Lucky to stretch out and even stand in. This greatly made the treks less traumatic. The assembly was an easy slide-on fit. Special screws and lock nuts were a welcome addition to permanently hold it all together with absolute security. I love the large steel door that opens from the right or left. The lock is very secure. My old --all plastic-- carrier scared me every time I used it. Got tired of using garbage ties as extra security too.Some purchasers complain of the difficult assembly and declining product quality. I found NO such critiques. And, while Lucky hates leaving home, he didn't complain and cry as with the old carrier.The price for the product, design and quality was very reasonable. And, I would recommend this carrier to ANY cat owner.Steve Franks

Nice and roomy for our 10lb. dog, who is a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix and has a fair amount of leg on her. Easy to put together - took about 3 minutes. Door opens and closes nicely from either side- the ability to remove the door completely is a plus. Not sure that I'd recommend lugging it about with the handle if one had a 20lb pet, but that could just be me and past bad experiences with handles that were flimsy on other brands of crates. It's a bit large for fast trips in the car so we stuck with a small size crate for that- but as a 'living space' and den for our dog it is exactly right. She can take stuffed toys in and still have plenty of room- she seems to approve her new digs very much.

I really like this little kennel! I purchased it for my Yorkie simply because she is so afraid of riding in the car. I'm not able to let her sit in the seat without some type of restraint because she is trying to climb up my chest while driving (no matter what we do, she just hates car rides!). I think this will be perfect for the short trips to the vet, groomer or wherever we need to go. It was very easy to put together and seems very sturdy. I like that you can open the door from either side as well. There is plenty of room inside for her to lay or stand, as well as turn around if she needs to. The color is cute too, and accurate to the picture in my opinion. Definitely would recommend this to anyone needing a kennel!

This is a nice carrier for a cat or dog up to 20 pounds. The door mechanism is animal proof, because the knob definitely requires a human hand to turn in order to open the door. There are two knobs because the door can be opened from the right or left side. I also happen to like the color combination of this carrier. I've seen so many carriers that do the job but are just plain ugly.I did knock off one star because assembly is harder than it looks from the instructions. The three slats on each side of the bottom portion must fit the three slat holes on each side of the top piece exactly. These are moulded plastic shell halves that only approximate each other rather than just slip into place like a hand in a glove. You, the purchaser, get to make sure they do by pulling and grunt work while you apply each of four screws to hold them into place. Failure to install correctly can weaken or cause the bottom to fall out when loaded, or crack one or more of the joins resulting in the same thing. It's not impossible to assemble, but it's a pain you know where for one just person. If you can, have someone else help stretching the cover to make sure each of the slats fit in their proper positions while you tackle the four screws.I suppose it's cheaper for the manufacturer to ship it unassembled, but this is not something complicated like a piece of equipment or a floor lamp. This is just a carrier and the manufacturer should be shipping it assembled.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it is exactly what it says it is, and has lots of perks. But before I begin, know that I do think it is TOO SMALL for daily use for my 6lb chihuahua.*easy to put together and sturdy*cute bright colors*good double handles for closing the door so it can be opened either way*strong overhead handle for carryingBut, I was hoping for a crate to put my chihuahua in when I leave for work. It's just too small for that, she can barely turn around in it, and sitting up her head touches the ceiling of the crate. I will be keeping it for traveling or donating it to a local shelter. It's a great crate, but I shouldn't have trusted the sizing for comfort.***At 6lbs, my chihuahua needs the 10-20lb sized crate to be comfortable.*** The 1-10 lbs is just too cramped for my pup. She hates being in there but loves the big crate we have for my lab mix.

I read the reviews and selected this kennel. The price was really great, the color is cool and I used free shipping and received the kennel several days before the estimated delivery. I read some of the reviews that said it was not as easy as they thought it would be. It took a few minutes to slide it into place, the door when on easily and it came with screws so you can secure the kennel. It was very easy to put together, seems very sturdy and is nice looking. I bought a cute light pink kennel mat to go with it. We get our little rescue dog in a few days and I can't wait to see her sleeping in it. Every house should have a dog and every dog should have a home. Adopt at your local rescue, Human Society or shelter!I LOVE AMAZON!!!!

No complaints. It was my first time buying an item from Amazon Warehouse Deals and I was not disappointed. The carrier is exactly what I expected it to be - easy to assemble and sturdy. Half the price of what my first one cost. Overall a great product!

The kennel is on the smaller side. My kitten is about 5 months old and it looks like it will only just fit her.The coloured portion of the kennel was also slightly dirty/discoloured. The plastic feels cheap.The kennel comes disassembled (which was fine and as expected), but I was not sent the bolts and wingnuts referred to in the assembly instructions that are needed to secure the two halves of the kennel together. From reading a few other reviews it seems that the missing bolts are a common occurrence.It will work for now but overall very disappointing.

El envío llego muy antes (perfecto) , los colores me gustaron muchísimo, pero el material es un poco frágil principalme en la manilla, pero como mi mascota no pesa muncho esta perfecto lo compraría otra vez.
