Body Fortress Whey Protein Powder, Vanilla, 31.2 Ounces (885g) (Pack of 2)

Tastes good, and is well worth the money. I was looking for a meal supplement that wasn't expensive, I know this isn't a meal supplement but after researching several meal shakes and their ingredients compared to the SAWP, I came to the conclusion the only difference is more fiber and vitamins, and about 2x the price some a little more, so I bought this, add a teaspoon of orange flavored sugar free Metamucil, (and my standard formula 1/2 banana, 3-4 frozen peach slices, mostly water, some aloe juice, 1/2 scoop of SAWP and blend- yum! ) and take ALIVE vitamins through the day. I recently (literally yesterday) started adding in green super food for added nutritional benefit. Ive never had this protein by itself with just water so I can't rate it's stand alone taste, can't imagine drinking any protein with out helping it a little, but its great as addition to a shake.

With an autoimmune disorder, it's important to get enough protein and this is the easiest way to do it.I mix two scoops of vanilla in my large hot coffee each day, and it's wonderful! Use a whisk to briskly stir after adding a couple ice cubes and lo-cal sweetener. It fills me up until well after lunch and ensures that I get the much needed protein that I otherwise would not eat. Chocolate is also good but vanilla works the best for adding to coffee. As a cold shake made with crushed ice, I prefer the chocolate. That's also a great way to get protein and fill up without lots of calories or carbs. I have been using this powder daily for almost two years and I don't go a day without it!

This protein is dirty cheap so i had to try it, i normally buy gold standard whey by optimum nutrition which i must say its the best protein powder i have ever tried in my life and i have tried many weight gainers and proteins for example. Quickmass by allmax nutrition great weight gainer you will put on max in no time i promise you, serious mass by optimum nutrition it has way to many carbs and not enough protein and it will just make you fat, bio sports usa whey protein, never liked it, elite by dymatyze its just ok not great, abb extreme gainer, tastes greats not many gains and gold standard whey BEST PROTEIN EVER! If you can afford it got with optimum nutrition.Back to body fortressIt tastes very good with water i mixed 2 scoops with 12 oz of water mixed great in a shaker bottle, with milknis a different story... Only 1 scoop with milk tasted wayyyyy to sweet i didnt like it.As far as results i only have a few days taking it so i cant tell anything about it.Overall i think is a good product for the money, but if you want somrthing a little more premiumngo with OP

I have been purchasing this protein for a few years at Walmart and decided to just start having it shipped to my house. The price here is on par with Walmart.I look for the lowest priced Quality protein i can find that is palatable. These containers have about 650 grams of protein per bottle, which beats everything else i have seen in amount per bottle (most are around 450-550 grams) and at a lower price. I dont look at the serving/protein labels because its a deceptive way to sell the product. For example i can say "50 grams a serving" but there is only ten servings. Or i could say " 500 1 gram servings" ...I just look for the total by doing the math. When you do that, its easy to see this is a great priced protein. Even the 4 and 5 pound tubs by competitors dont stack up on price. I looked at Combat and Gaspari and they have approximately 1350 grams of protein for about $50...this would be the same amount of protein for roughly 32 bucks.I use the vanilla in my oatmeal nearly very day. Mixes as well as just about any other i have tried. Though the price is great, i can only drink the vanilla flavor. The others i dont enjoy though you might. I tend to dislike all chocolate flavors out there except MEt-RX.Some want to bash this protein but usually the comparisons tend to not be fair. This is straight protein with some added BCAA's. It wouldn't be fair to compare it to a much higher priced one with creatine, or NO boosters. Some complain this is not an isolate, but the added value of isolate is debatable.When it all boils down i find this to be a great everyday protein to ensure i get what i need. On occasion i will spring for a competitor brand to get something different, like a muscle milk blueberry/cake batter or MET-rx Chocolate. That doesn't happen to often though since they sell for $25.00 a can.

This is one of the cheapest ways to get extra protein into your diet.Each scoop has about 30g of protein plus vitamins and minerals. Combined in a shake, this is the cheapest way to add protein to your diet, make meal replacement drinks, or anything else. It mixes fairly well by hand, though using a blender or shaker gives better results.As far as flavor, it tastes a bit mute. It does not taste like the vanilla I'm used to. That can be okay - if you typically add this to shakes, then the taste does little to affect the flavor.Overall I like this protein powder and regularly keep these in my pantry. It's value is great on Amazon, in fact a few dollars cheaper than the grocery store. It's been a key ingredient in my breakfast shakes for a long time.

The overall quality/healthiness of this product should be evident from the product description - nothing to review there.I absolutely love how this stuff tastes, but I hated it at first. Like others have said, it's like a hint of tasting actual vanilla extract. However, after using it for a week or two, I began to absolutely love it; it was literally pleasurable to drink. Like, if they made a kool-aid flavor based off of it, I might buy it.It mixes pretty well, but there would sometimes be very small leftover pieces clinging to the inside of the bottle after drinking. However, they were small enough to not notice while drinking.
