Accuracy matches my doctor's office monitor
Very easy to use and extremely accurate. Tested it with my doctor's office monitor and the 2 readings were almost identical in all aspects. The unit is sturdy and well-made. The blue connector clip other reviews complained about is also sturdy and seems like it will only crack if you stomp on it. So don't leave it out on the floor! Highly recommended.

Easy on the wallet, I saw the same model sold locally for twice the price !
Needed to start monitoring my blood pressure and chart for my DR. It works great and easy to put the cuff on. Gives a accurate reading without having to use the old cuff and pump method. Good price. Went back to the Dr and noticed they use the same brand. Easy on the wallet, I saw the same model sold locally for twice the price !

Very good simple machine to use - very good price
I previously had an Omron BP monitor I bought back in the late 1990's. It worked well for all these years but I killed it my leaving old batteries in it that corroded.I found this for a very good price and bought it. It works great, smaller and simpler to use that my old one. Just follow the simple instructions and you shouldn't have any problems.I read that it is a good idea to take ANY BP machine you have with you to your next doctors appointment. When they manually check your BP you can they use the machine to compare. This will ensure that your machine is calibrated correctly and give you peace of mind.

Great Deal, Good Brand and Simple to use machine
I'm focusing on my health so I wanted to keep track of my blood pressure and I bought this here for $32 after seeing it in pharmacies for $60+. I showed this to my doctor and he said it was a great brand and the type they use, so that made me feel even better. It's very simple to use which I like; I just press start and it takes the reading. It also has a memory for 2 weeks so you can show your doctor if you have any concerns.

Definitely Worth the Price
I love this monitor as it is lightweight, compact and uncomplicated to operate. It was reasonably priced for a home portable monitor. It has eased my mind to be able to check it if I am not feeling right. It has improved my life with my readings.I now know I have to make adjustments in my life style to regulate my blood pressure in a safe range. It's probably going to save my life by knowing what my blood pressure is if I eat certain things or get upset.

Accurate Blood Pressure Monitor
We bought this unit after researching online. I've had good luck with Omron products in the past, so I was comfortable with the brand. I tested this unit against a unit at my doctor's office and also had it tested against a unit at Walgreens. The unit was accurate in comparison to both of the other units. I had previously bought units that had more features than this unit, and they were not as accurate. It's small in size and I am able to keep it and the cuff in an oversized cosmetic bag. So far it has been very reliable.

Warning: no AC adapter or option for an AC adapter.
I ordered this for a friend of mine with blood pressure issues (at his request), so I haven't used it much myself, but it appears to be a great little no-nonsense device for monitoring your blood pressure. It's supposed to be one of the most accurate brands as well. The only real issue with it is that it will only run on 4 AAA batteries and has no option to plug in an AC adapter. I have yet to hear how long the batteries last, but it might not be too long since they are operating an electric motor that drives a pump. If you want to avoid having to mess with batteries then I'd probably get the next model up that comes with an AC adapter. (If you buy the one with an AC port but no adapter, I think the cost of an adapter plus the monitor is about the same as the next model up that comes with one.) If you were to buy a battery charger and four AAA rechargeables, you'd probably also be looking at spending more than the AC adapter plus/or a model that can use one.Cost for AAA batteries will ultimately make this monitor more expensive to operate than the one 2 models up.

Omron BP-710 Blood Pressure Monitor
I have made direct comparisons between the standard manual method and my Omron BP-710 automatic blood pressure monitor. I did this by inserting an aneroid anemometer in the air tubing of the BP-710, using a stethoscope to identify the systolic and diastolic pressures while the BP-710 was recording its readings. The simultaneous readings agreed closely during several trials. The BP-710 is an inexpensive, accurate blood pressure monitor, and very convenient to use. Although lacking some extra features of the more expensive Omron monitors (a clock, larger memory, ability to average readings, etc.) it is all one needs to keep track of blood pressure. Note that it has no provision for use with an external AC adapter, however, the projected life of a set of 4 AAA batteries is about 300 uses, which seems satisfactory.
