Travelon Mini Independence Bag, Black, One Size

I searched and searched for the perfect toiletry bag. I ordered my first bag from Amazon, a Levievert bag, which I love, but as the airlines are getting more and more particular, I needed a smaller bag. I searched and researched every toiletry bag on Amazon and then fell in love with the Travelon mini independence bag. Of all the bags, I what I loved was the row of elastic loops that I could store make-up brushes. I also loved the inner bag for its width and the hanging compartments. When the bag is zipped, it is very clean and compact. I can put it in a carry-on bag and be on my way. I already have it ready for travel with my travel bottles, etc.I do have to say, when I was preparing my new Travelon bag with my travel bottles, I realized that all of my bottles were form Travelon and my new jewelry bag was also from Travelon, so I can say that I am a true Travelon lover.I highly recommend this bag. I had to decide between the mini and the large, but stuck to the mini as I did want a more compact size. I have heavily recommended the larger bag to my niece who has two toddlers and think it will be the perfect size for her needs. Since she will always have to check her bags with two small children, the large would fit her well. She could pack it in the suit case or carry it by its shoulder strap. Of all my Amazon purchases this month, the Independence bag and jewelry case by Travelon are my best buys.

This bag work so well I bought one for my daughter as well. I really like that you can stand up full size items and it holds quite a few of them. A lot of zipper compartments for smaller items and I really like that you can sit it on the counter without it falling over or hang it pretty much anywhere.

This is a very durable bag. I LOVE the fact that can sit upright on a counter top. I also love that it can fit everything you need for an extended trip. The main open pocket is roomy enough so that you can see almost everything and don't have to go digging around for things. However, the bag is just too bulky and heavy. It's 20% larger than most toiletry bags. I wanted to love this bag, but it just took up too much space and weight in my bag for me to use it again.

I've been looking for a toiletries travel bag for months. They were all too small or too big. I love Travelon, and after comparing the regular Independence bag to this one, this smaller size appeared to be best for me. Don't let the word "Mini" fool you. I do NOT pack lightly, and while mine is now full to the brim, it holds everything I need. If you're packing for a family, the full size Independence bag might be better, but for one person, this is great. Love the purple color too! Zippers are sturdy, bag bottom and walls are too. I can quit looking.

I have used this bag numerous times and have never loved it more than when I used it on my recent trip. I didn't heed online advice and put plastic wrap under the lid of my liquid bottles. My mouthwash leaked ALL over everything .... BUT .... did NOT leak through the bag onto my clothes. I had the travel bottle in the main compartment and not in one of the plastic zipped compartments. I was easily able to use the hotel washcloth and soap to wipe out the inside of the bag and I let it air dry overnight. The next morning it was all dry and no Listerine odor. I tend to travel with a LOT of toiletries and this bag holds them all easily. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I purchased this for a cruise that I ended up not going on. I kept it because it is the most user friendly toiletry bag I have ever had. I specifically bought this model because you can open it up and leave it on a counter or hang up while in use and it keeps everything organized and easy to use. Closing it and carrying it keeps everything upright if you want. I have already ditched the toiletry bag I used for years because this one is so great!

I purchased this bag to use for my son's diabetes supplies and looked at many bags, specifically the ones that had shoulder straps to make it easy for my 8-yr old son to carry. One of the images for this product showed an attached shoulder strap but it did not come with any strap, nor any hooks on the side for attaching one. Additionally, the product tag on the bag also has this same picture with the shoulder strap. Completely false advertising! The bag itself seems very sturdy and I'm hoping that I will be able to attach some type of strap to the upper handle, although it seems it may be too wide to do so. If this doesn't work, I guess I have just purchased an expensive toiletries bag for traveling. :(
