Whatever
Just received it today and I'm very unhappy. Spending $84 on a dartboard I expect to get some decent packaging this thing was loose inside a box. It's got all kinds of scuffs and dents on it ,the outer ring with the numbers is hanging off . feels like it's dried out and used

Not happy, we brought this a couple of weeks ago ...
Not happy, we brought this a couple of weeks ago as a fathers day gift for my hubby who's very serious about darts, his needed replacing and we figured this would be perfect, I took a quick check in the box after delivery , but didn't inspect it, wish we had as today he opened his Fathers day gift and there are many dings and dents on the board ( this was gift wrapped and stored for two weeks not left laying around the house so I know we didn't damage it) Amazon are thankfully sending a replacement asap ) but shame he cant play on it today with the kids. On sealing the box up for return I notice theres secondary tape on the manufacturers tape which seems to mean its already been returned before.Looks like a lil dart board mouse had luch on the board...the box was undamaged though.Ill update my review when the new board arrives and he plays it.

6 Month Review: Bulls Eye near worthless! :(
Like SOOOOO many others, this board impressed right out of the box. Previous to buying this I had only had cheap-o Wal-Mart boards, so this thing was a treat. So many noticeable upgrades over what I'd had before I ever even mounted it... which by the way is a breeze, and possibly the only reason I still give it 2 stars. For the first 4 months of use this thing was AMAZING!!! Near ZERO bounce outs from anyone, including my 10yo daughter, and no one that plays on this board is anywhere near pro. We Play a lot of Cricket, probably 90% of what we play, so the bull gets thrown at a ton, and after the first 4 months the bounce outs started, a couple weeks later they were fairly common, and now unless you throw it like a baseball there's about a 1 in 3 chance it's not gonna stick in that bull. Honestly to look at it I don't think it appears that bad, but a dart hitting it sounds more like its hitting plywood, its hard as a rock. The rest of the board still performs well, and to be honest I just rotated it the first time a few days ago even though I had no problems in the 15-20 range, but rotating the board doesn't help the bull. For an almost $100 board I expected WAY more than 6 months!!!

One dart board is just as crappy as another. Some just cost more.
These things are advertised as having a longevity of "years" whatever that means. They last about 2 months as long as you do not throw more than 25 darts anywhere in the area of the bulls eye. If you do that, the center will swell and explode all over your floor. They should ship these things with brooms and dustpans. If you read the advertisement that accompanies this item you might expect you were paying $85.00 for a product that had been well thought out and improved upon over past failures. That is not the case at all. This is just as crappy as all the rest. It falls apart like all the rest. You can buy 4 dartboards, each one of which will last exactly as long as this one, for the price you pay for ONE of these. When you are done with those 4 you will have a set of wheels for your pimp mobile.

LAST ONLY 2 MONTHS
This is my 4th or 5th Blade dartboard from Winmau. The others (blade 4 and blade 5 single core) lasted 6-9 months. I figured dull darts were aging them. For this one, I kept my darts from getting too dull. This board lasted only 2 MONTHS. I am now switching to the DMI Bandit, staple free dart board and we'll see how that goes. Also, my other Blade boards shipped fine but THIS one I had to tap in both bullseye rings with a deadblow mallet. I was very surprised this was necessary. UNACCEPTABLE.

Dissatisfied with this product!
Very disappointed in this product. Center bull green and red deteriorated with wires exposed and no darts sticking at all.

One of a kind.... Amazing board
First off real review not fake by any means. So I have recently gotten into darts competitively as a hobby and bought a crappy cheap board from Wal-Mart for my house, after alot of bounce outs and the paint flaking off, making it difficult to see let alone score , i decided to do some board shopping. I reviewed and looked at alot of different boards and came across this one. Little hesitant to order at first due to the expanse but let me just say this board is AWESOME. The color is rich nd bright everything is symmetrical and even, well crafted board couldn't be happier I'd say definitely top of the Line. With that said I did have to return the first on due to a 1" scuff on the 16 spot but, returned and I had a new one THE NEXT DAY! Awesome customer service. Don't let the price scare you on this one I have a feeling this board will be with me many years. Super easy to hang great sound and stability when using just wowed can't say more I could go on and on but I hope you get it by now. Great job Winamu terrific product!!!!!!!.

Bounce-Outs Abound
I like Winmau boards, but this dual core board allows too many bounce-outs. And, I'm not talking about hitting wires; I talking about bounce-outs of well thrown darts into the middle of what should be soft areas of the board. I wore out a Winmau Blade 5 prior to purchasing this Blade 5 Dual Core. The regular old Blade 5 was a really good board and held on to the darts. This Dual Core board just seems to be constructed differently. If I had to guess, I would say that the core is thicker and harder, and that the surface fibers are shorter/thinner/shallower. It wears out faster and, as a result, there are hard spots all over this board and the fiber grows worn more quickly and doesn't "heal" its self as well as the regular Blade 5. In my experience, this leads to a LOT of bounce outs. I would guess that I am picking up off the floor 1 out of every 5 or 6 darts thrown at this board. I'm not a professional player, but I throw a LOT of darts. This board should be holding onto my sharp, well maintained, well thrown darts much more often than it does. I will stick with Winmau, but I'll go back to the regular Blade 5 rather than this Dual Core board, and I'll save money doing it.
