HP Scanjet Pro 3000 s2 Sheet-feed Scanner, (L2737A)

The HP Scanjet 3000s2 is compact and fast. There were not any reviews on Amazon or HP. I purchased it based on HP name and because it was reasonably priced. I had it installed and had the 10 or 12 documents on my desk scanned and electronically filed in less than an hour. The Nuance software is simple and lets me make and organize the files the way that I want.Now I need to roll up my sleeves and start scanning some of my older documents so that I can get rid of my paper files.

Very happy with my new scanner. Small footprint, easy set-up for an lightweight computer user. I was happy to have the Readiris software included. Took a bit of a effort to learn the best use of the software. Only problem was on the paper being parked after it was scanned. This occurred when I was scanning large quantities at or near the rated capacity of 50 sheets. Paper would drop off the shelf, push others off, or insert themselves out of order. I just added a small stand, removed the paper holder for scanned documents and put a regular paper tray to catch the documents, and wallah! problem solved and no longer requiring the operator (me) to attend. Really handy device and doin' the job. I've scanned approximately 800 pages in my first month of ownership

The scanner is very slow performance compare with Epson Ds550 I bought 3 years ago. The PDF is too small and easy jam the paper. I like HP product very much ( the HP printer) but very frustrate with this scanner.

The scanner arrived on time and works perfectly. The only thing I didn't realize is that I can't name the file until after I've scanned it to a file. They all come up Scan-01. It's just extra work on my part and my last scanner gave you the option to name the file prior to scanning but that was my fault for not investigating more. The scanner is fast and easy to use.

We love this scanner. Its the fastest one we've had. Very good feed that never jams or pulls more than one sheet. We did have difficulty loading the drivers, but no problems since then. Small profile that doesn't take up much room. Very light, almost to the point of flimsy, but its been durable so far. We will probably by a second one for the office.

I bought this scanner because I used it at work and I love the features and the software. I have Windows 10 at home and the software for this machine is NOT Windows 10 compatible. I contacted HP and they did a work around where I can use existing Windows set up to run the machine, but that totally defeats the reason I bought the machine, which was to use the HP software to do the scanning. Not happy. Most likely will return because of the software issue.

HP scanjet 3000s takes care of our needs in an office setting. We scan all documents for storage and this gem makes it an easy task. Currently have 12 at workstations throughout the office. Price point is great for desktop use. We have a larger scanner in the copy room for the big jobs with hundreds of pages. Very reliable, with only occasional cleaning of glass plate and rollers needed to keep things rolling along. I've noticed if a staff member likes to use White-out to make corrections before scanning, it will sometimes get white flecks on glass plate, using a little windex, it comes right off.

Excellent scanner and great replacement for our Fujitsu 6110s at half the price. I scan between 50 and 100 pages a day and have had this scanner for about a month. I've only had 1 paper jam in that time. We were looking for a cheaper replacement as our Fujitsus are nearing 2 years old. The software was very easy to setup and with the twain driver, it works great with our eagent software. I couldn't be happier.
