Loved the first one obviously- or I wouldn't have bought ...
This is my second robo vac. Bought the same one again- for use on newly installed laminate wood floor on a second level. Loved the first one obviously- or I wouldn't have bought it again! Great on hardwood and throw rugs. Keeps dust and dog hair to a minimum. I have allergies and asthma and this has really made a major improvement in my life. I have heard people say that the battery doesn't last. I plug it in and let it FULLY charge- I empty the dust bin every time before I turn it on, and I let it run until it DIES! Then plug it in again. Have not had a problem maintaining the charge. The battery has a memory just like handheld radios and other equipment. It is a maintenance tool. It doesn't not replace at least a weekly vacuum and/or routine mopping. Keeps my floors looking great between cleanings.

Not what it claims
It's a lot easier to get a broom duster and dust the floors. This "intelligent vacuum" was not very smart; it would get stuck when it hit the wall and stop running; did not work at all (no movement) in any kind of carpeting in my home (thin or thick ). I constantly used the remote control because it would not move if it hit a tight space. It made me realized that it was a lot easier and productive if I got my ass off the chair and picked up the broom duster and be done in two minutes. These type of vacuums can certainly serve a need, possibly for people who have physical limitations, otherwise, it's a waste of time and money. I'm sending it back.

Nothing but problems
I carefully read the reviews on this product before I bought it and I have nothing but problems with it. It doesn't recharge. So far I have bought a new battery and just ordered a new adaptor for it. I can't return it because I thought it was fine and trashed the boxes. After trash pickup I realized it wasn't recharging. However the first time I used it, it worked fine. It will not go over rugs but works fine on hardwood and tile floors. Added note: The charger came in and worked however now it just goes around in circles. This is totally useless. I got about two vacuums out of this item.

iTouchless for floors
I was lucky enough to get this as a gift in July 2015 from my Sister I love it and Named her Elsie. She is a huge help when I can't keep up with 2 dogs and 3 cats running in and out of the house and the things they bring in like grass clippings and leafs and there fur with dirt... If you take care of her she will help take care of your floor treat her to a spa day once in awhile wipe her down with damp cloth turn her over take the dust/fur out from her brushes keep her dust pan and filter cleaned out, keep her plugged in when not in use.She has a remote works well, don't let her sit in stuck spot and run out all her juice, if your not around when she is cleaning than block areas, close doors. She works well I been pleased and have had her since 2015 she still going strong!

Good purchase
This vacuum is not the highest quality of touchless vacuums, but it does get the job done! It fits under my couch which is huge because that seems to be where stuff goes to never be seen again, and it makes its way all the way around the house. I also like there are different settings and a remote.

Good price, but not top quality
UPDATE: After about 2 months of weekly use, this vacuum totally quit working. It will turn on and sound like it is going to start, but immediately shut down. It has become useless and I've decided to upgrade to a Roomba. Save yourself the trouble and just invest in the real deal from the start. When I was searching for a touchless vacuum, I didn't want to have to take out a loan in order to get one. So when I found this one I was excited to get it. For the most part, it does its job. I've learned though that I have to pick up any small rugs (kitchen rugs, small rug by front door) so that it doesn't get hung up on them and I have come home several times to find the sweeper hung up in the carpet causing the vacuum to seize up and shut off. Minor and fixable issues, but somewhat annoying at times. You get what you pay for I guess!

Really lousy product
If you're looking for something to wander around your tile floor and pick up dirt, and you don't have very many obstacles in the room, and you don't mind the sound of a shrieking robot, get this item! If you have carpets or furniture or sleep when it's running, go elsewhere.Edit: It's a month later and this thing died. Now I have a dead shrieking robot. Which is only good for when my ex-wife comes over. Seriously, screw her.

Not bad but i wouldnt buy it again.
Let me start with describing the area it cleans. It has a kitchen/living room area that extends into a foyer and dining room. The total SQFT area is about 1000 sqft and it can zoom around the space within its battery life (45 minutes). However, it has no rhyme or reason and frequently skips areas. It doesn't seem to be too fond of my kitchen for some reason and completely avoids the space unless i place it in certain areas multiple times within 1 cleaning inside of the kitchen. It gets stuck in the rails to the sliding glass doors on the back porch as if it has a malfunctioning "fall" sensor. I attempted to use it on the stairs and it indeed prevents itself from falling so I am not sure why it falls into the sliding glass door rails. It has trouble crossing very flat carpets (foot mat at my front door and garage door slow it up to a snails pace) and cant handle regular carpets whatsoever. While you don't want to use this on carpets either way, don't expect it to pass carpeted areas with ease or without supervision. It isnt the smoothest of bots.. it bangs around like a madman without any rhyme or reason. By this i mean it will smack against a table leg from the right side of the bumper and instead of turning left to avoid it, it will turn right and smack it again...I wouldnt consider this a vacuum, it doesnt have suction at all, it is just a sweeper bot.The canister is poorly designed where it has a smaller opening than the canister itself. Larger items such a pet fur or floor debris will block up the entrance to the canister and prematurely fill the bot meaning you need to frequently clean and empty the canister.Would i buy it again? No. Does it do its job? Yes. Is it worth the $125 that i paid for it? Yes.

Battery Problem
I bought this vacuum in Sept 2011 and to be very glad I thought I could clean the room without my hands finally. The vacuum would take sometime to learn the room obstacles, after several trial, it started to work normally. But what I cannot stand is the battery charge. I read the instruction and it says 5-6hours charge makes you use around 1hour. However, after 1month usage, I found I needed to charge it overnight to normally use it. And if you charge it but don't use it immediately, then one day later, you would found it cannot work, you need to recharge again. Now, the big problem is even I charge it overnight, it can only work 5 minutes. I am going to return it or just as the garbage to throw it away if they charge me the return fee. So disappointed!!!

TERRIBLE and BEWARE
Battery problems as well....terrible product....gets stuck on SLIGHT carpet thickness fluctuations. At the beginning it was mildly impressive, but the battery life went shorter and shorter within months....now, 10 months later it doesn't work at all. For $200 it's easily one of the worst purchases I have ever made. To continue the saga I called the company and I was well within the warranty time frame, so they offered to fix it...but not only do I have to pay for shipping from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, I have to pay the RETURN shipping. It is a heavy product so the shipping costs are astronomical. So basically there's about a 50% warranty. Thank God for Amazon. Amazon immediately refunded my money after hearing about my experience after one phone call. Thank you Amazon and smell you later iTouchless.
