I had ordered the beer making kit because I love the Oktoberfest in Munich, so just wanted to know how it tastes and liked the idea of tapping from a barrel. The kit contains everything you need and you can start right away, which was handy. The preparation was easy, I did it together with my 11 year old daughter and we had fun doing it. After a week I tried the beer (not her) with some of my mates and I must say We all liked the taste of the beer, the 5 litre barrel got empty quickly.I can recommend this beer making kit!

Made a nice tasting mild beer. But fiddly for my husband who managed to get yeast over most of the keg but otherwise good fun and nice tasting. Beware you have to drink within a couple of days of opening.

Easy to do and very nice lager at the end.Its bloody lively with CO2 mind so becareful pouring or you'll get a huge frothy head.You can vent it but you dont want it to be too flat as the CO2 made it really quite creamy and lush!

Ordered this for a weekend party. Was very excited to receive the pack so quickly. Instructions were very clear. Impressed that making my first beer was so straight forward! We tapped the barrel together and everyone loved the taste of my first brewed German beer! Definitely recommend it as a gift or for parties with fellow beer lovers!

its simple to use, just shove all the ingredients in the barrel provided, leave for 5 days, chill for 2 but the sludge that still remains!!!...nope, just doesnt work
