I am ONLY giving it 1 star because it arrived quickly. That's it! This toy box consists of cheap materials that were badly damaged when it arrived. The wood is even mis-matched colors! The lid doesn't close all the way, nor does the safety close feature work correctly. Had I seen one in a store, I would have never bought it, let alone paid more than $20 for it. Very disappointed!

Really wish the bottom was just a bit stronger. Overall trunk was easy to assemble. Top comes already assembled (nice surprise!) just have to put the four sides and bottom then attach the top to the body. This was given to a 2 years old for use as a toy chest. Name will be stenciled on the front panels. Maybe something to offer as additional purchase, sheets of letters or personalizing it for the customer? I plan on purchasing a darker one for my livingroom to store my throw blankets. I feel it was a great item for the price.

This replaced some Sterilite totes that we had in the closet for the kids' toys. This is for my boys,, and they are young, and destructive. It has proven since Christmas, about 3 months, to be durable. You have to know them to understand how destructive they are. I think this toy box will last, if it has lasted this long without breaking. We are planning on buying another one so each boy has his own. I won't open that can of worms just yet. Hope for the best.

I can’t wait to buy another one.. bought it as my kids plastic tote broke from my child and seen thing and put it together within 30 minutes . Would be less if I didn’t have little hands helping.. wish it was a bit for structure for the bottom but so far I like it and want another one for my little girl that I’d most likely turn into a hope chest

This was perfect for what we needed it for. My daughter has so many toys that we didn't know how to organize them all. This toy chest worked wonderfully for her stuffed animals and dolls.

This toy box is beautiful but not really good quality. The lid doesn't close completely, it had like a half inch gap, which isn't that big of a deal but seriously I haven't had it in my home for 24 hours yet and the paint is scratched of where it just touched the wall when I opened it. If it's supposed to be a toy box for kids I would imagine it should be a little less delicate. I hate to see it after my toddler actually plays in and around it. Let's face it, this thing is NOT cheap and I paid it because I thought it was fashion and function. But it won't look so pretty when it's all chipped up. I would say get a different toy box.

This thing came packaged very well! It took maybe 15min for my hubby to pop it together and it's nice and sturdy. My 9month old absolutely LOVES it! She crawls up to it every day & opens the lid on her own& looks in. It helped teach her how to stand on her own within a week! We keep it packed full of all of her toys so although she can't reach the bottom she can still pull things out to play with. It truely looks like a treasure chest and to her it is!One thing I really love about it are the nice smooth sides & panels. I used some left over wall stickers (happi tree) from her nursery to decorate the panels & even put some on the inside of the lid. It's so cute and easy to decorate anyway you want to match your kids room, or even just leave it like it is,it's cute. The thing I love the most is that when she opens it, even a tiny bit, the lid stays in place & there is a small gap so it won't shut on her tiny fingers.

I love the toy box. Easy to put together myself. The only thing I don’t like it how it’s not very think on the bottom so it would break. The toy weight it’s fine but if my child tried to climb inside like kids do it would probably break. Other then that I love it. My daughter is one and is opening and closing it easily herself and hasn’t hurt her fingers at all. Good safety.

This Badger Basket Barrel Top Toy Box is an amazing product for the price! Contrary to some of the reviews on Amazon.com this trunk is VERY easy to assemble. The quality of the workmanship is very good, and again surprising given the price. The top is constructed of solid wood slats and comes preassembled. The sides consist of solid wood pieces and nicely finished veneered thin ply wood. This box makes a PERFECT storage chest for all sorts of things! And it looks GREAT!

Finish on the toy box is great. Personalized it ourselves with stencils and acrylic paint.Easy assembly for one adult.Great toy box for any kid!
