As advertised, it keeps my beard from drying out without making it feel greasy. You have to use it sparingly of course, but even if you use a bit too much, it still doesn't feel greasy. Also remember to use it on a freshly washed beard after towel-drying. The smell when you apply it is actually pretty nice in my opinion, but it doesn't remain long so even if you don't care for it, it won't be a huge problem. I bought the beard oil and the beard balm; the oil seems to penetrate better and moisturize while the balm is a bit stiffer and helps with grooming. Been using it for a week or two now; so far, so good. It hasn't made my beard silky and billowing, but for my bristles, that might be asking a bit much.

I love Liberty and all their products - especially the beard balm. I recently purchased their Virtu Blend Beard Oil (same as the balm I use) to help with the flaky-ness of the skin under my beard. It works well, but my only complaint is that it starts to smell weird after about 30 minutes - and the smell lasts all day. Almost like I ate extra greasy bacon and did not bother to wipe or clean up. If anyone has tips to help with this please let me know!

Just an FYI this is not a solicited review - I paid for my schtuff...... :-)I am new to this whole beard grooming repertoire, over the past eight months, I've tried this and that oil and balm/wax. I've tried them, quite a few, from skeleton emblazoned cool looking marketing gimmick to the subdued packaging marketing catchy named items...... LIBERTY is by far the best of any of these previously tried.I've tried a few that the scents were so overpowering and perfumed up I couldn't stay in the same room as myself, even after washing it out to disperse the scent of previous items they were still over powering. Not LIBERTY!I am here to tell you give me My LIBERTY. The eucalyptus scent is not over powering the way others have been it mellows with the day, its down right pleasant. By far hands down the best of any items I have tried within the past eight months. Some days I use just the oil and my beard glistens like dewy grass in the early morning sun........"Your beard it almost sparkles," yes you heard it here makes my beard sparkle (BTW my beard is white/grey)...... I tell everyone its all about LIBERTY.I also use the oil with the LIBERTY Eucalyptus BEARD BALM on days when I want real control. I like the fact it is bee wax no artificial flavorings here. Again it isn't overpowering, however its staying power is awesome, I don't fight my whiskers anymore I make them relax and fall in line with LIBERTY BEARD BALM.I can promise this I will purchase both again (although a little swag would be nice, jk) the beard is here for a while whether my wife and fam like it or not..... At first, I liked this oil. However, after about 2 weeks, it had begun to have some type of growth in it. I ended up throwing the oil out.

has a weird smell not sure if it's the hemp seed oil as i've never used hemp seed oil products before but it works good i like the easy access much fast compared to oil bottles that have that little plastic thing at the top to reduce pouring speed. makes it easier for me to control how much i want to use

Product itself is good if you can manage the scent long enough for it to diminish. I am anything but a hippy but the smell makes me feel like I just bathed in Patchouli. If the smell were better, I would give it a 4 or 4.5.

I like this product. My spouse hates it. I guess the smell is the problem. To me, it's eucalyptus, but he says it's like dirty sweat. Oh, well, what to do? I'd give it 5☆, if it weren't for the negative feedback from my spouse. Our son has a beard, and he uses beard oil & conditioner that has a herbal aroma. Let's see.

After deciding to grow out a beard, I decided to do it the right way – and keep it as a gentleman's beard. Boy, was I blown away by the array and assortment of different products designed to help keep beards soft and well-kempt. After researching many online, I decided to go with Liberty beard products. I use both the beard oil and beard balm. They both work terrific. A bit on the pricey side, but if you're trying to keep a gentleman's beard, it's worth the investment. The odor, while nearly nonexistent, is not unpleasant and fades quickly. You are left with a beard that is softer, manageable and professional-looking. These are great products from a company that does a terrific job following up with its consumers. Highly recommended.
