It is a compact and has a lightweight design looks good beside the TV. Good to have the HDMI cable.Easy to install and set up. Softwares like Play Store, Kodi, YouTube and Netflix work fine. 4K effect is very good, I like to use it to watch movies I like.I also try my usb to connect it and watch a movie I predownload before, I think it is good for USB drive. I don't try the hard disk but if you want to connect it, that also works I think.The remote control is very basic and easy to use it, but I still recommend a keyboard to connect with box, it can help you more easier control the tv box.All in all, I would recommend it if you can afford.

1st I'll say that I was impressed with the value you get for the price in this box. Plays videos great and didn't notice any lag. The mouse feature of the remote even worked pretty well. The default interface is a bit clunky but I'm using this box with Kodi for a media server in our mini-van that only has RCA inputs to the media system. I immediately uninstalled the KDplayer (Kodi fork) and installed the real Kodi from Google Play. I also installed an app that launched Kodi automatically after power on. It was a little tricky getting the composite video working in NTSC (default of the box is PAL) but ultimately found it buried in some settings and am now ready to put it in the van.

Correction: The issue I had was not with this device. It was a different issue and had nothing to do with the performance of the box.My third purchase of this great little box. I purchased this one as a gift. Slow boot up but fast and solid WiFi connection. Minimal home screen customization without installing a different launcher. Remote is small, sleek and has good range and is responsive. I connected the device and had no issues installing apps. The provided HDMI cable is short but works very well. The box is small and looks nice on the entertainment center. I had an issue which I contacted the company directly about and they resolved the situation quickly and hassle free for me. I recommend this box and the company. For the performance, price, the extras, and the fast customer service you just can't go wrong.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  -- Update May 28, 2019 --I'm happy this thing supports external HDD with exFAT format so I can transfer movies from my Mac and watch it on the TV or projector in different rooms without having to plugin a computer! I think it would be possible to have plex running and host movies and music from there.---It's a capable player with 1 HDMI port, 2 USB port, and one SD card slot with a 3.5mm headphone output.I enjoyed it a lot today and these are the things I like:1. It's compatible with my Logitech keyboard and mouse, using one Logitech Unity mini USB receiver it is possible to use both devices at the same time taking only one USB port. Thanks to this feature, typing, searching even browsing web using Chrome browser was so easy!2. It is capable of powering an external 2.5 inch hard drive filled with 1080p movies using Kodi player.3. Extremely power efficient. The maximum power draw was around 6 Watts, when playing 1080p video from the external hard drive, measured using kill-a-watt meter (see attached photos).When idling it is around 2.5 ~ 3 Watts. 5 Watts average.I can leave it on all day long without worrying about my electricity bill. However, I wish the power supply port is Micro-USB instead of the round input. With such low power consumption, it is possible to be powered by a regular 10W iPad charger. And losing the default power adapter won't be a problem.I wish the the remote buttons are nicer and I could use an optical out option but at this price point I really it's ok.

This device is perfect for what I needed. When taking photos I needed a way to show my pictures in real time to my clients, I used this and a camfi device to essentially make my own tethered system. It works well for that: much better than a set up with an eye fi card and a laptop. My only complaint is that navigating with the included remote is clunky, impacting the ease of use of the product, but I'm going to look into options to alleviate that.For the stated purpose I can tell you that I would absolutely purchase this product again.

They give you the shortest power cord, it's literally 2 feet. That is terrible! So i have to have it hanging literally by the hdmi cord from the tv. Stupid decision there. Not sure why they didn't include Bluetooth in this model, also wish that fact was more obvious when buying. Figured they saved enough money with the ram and rom. Don't like how the stock launcher has shortcuts you can't remove. Downloaded a better launcher and works great, but there is no direct way to change the wallpaper! So i haven't figured out how to use live wallpapers if it even can. The remote doesn't work well in browsers.But do like the mx player pro pre installed. No ads in it!Not very versatile but will work great for Netflix, YouTube and streaming things and surfing the internet.

Received my box tonight the remote was good no problems, easy to set up picture quality was good no buffering no skipping the processor seems to have the power.. The biggest problem with these boxes in general is longevity they just never seem to last. So I can only hope the quality of the internals are as good as the rest of the box and I can get some real good time out of this box only time will tell..

Guys, this is a great android box being sold for less than it's worth. It doesn't come loaded with a lot of streaming apps but once you're done setting up the box, installing any app from the app store is a breeze. I've installed showbox, mobdro and another one called tubi. The pre-installed player on this box was able to play every stream i've tried through these apps. The quality is what i would call HD. And by the way, Lime player is not necessary at this time for showbox. All in all seems to be a great buy! I would recommend. As a matter of fact i will be picking up another two.
