I've used many other products for acne and this drying lotion is hands down the best for rapidly clearing up even the worst breakouts fast! I don't know why it's not sold with all acne products in big box and local pharmacy stores, but only at one major pharmacy store chain or advertised galore, because it begins working overnight. The pink color of drying lotion also helps as a concealer too, blending well under makeup or without, softens the appearance of red, irritated acne and camouflages it during the healing process too. I count on this amazing drying lotion when the usual untimely breakout happens just days before a special occasion, gathering with friends and family and know by day 3 my acne will be nearly healed or enough makeup makes it disappear. Then, I can feel comfortable, confident and enjoy the day or evening, without worrying and wondering if everyone is looking at the dreadful red spot (or full blown break out) or really just enjoying conversation or admiring the wardrobe/accessory selected to wear. The bottle is small, in comparing prices for other acne creams, serums, etc., and bit more expensive, though applied with a q-tip and fact a little goes a long way, this drying lotion is absolutely a great value on sale or regular manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP). This does dry up and heal cystic acne too, though can cause over drying of surrounding skin area and protective scabbing. However, use of a good quality moisturizing cream will help prevent or alleviate any excessive dryness and soften healing acne to allow for smooth, even application of concealer and foundation cover up. "Bye Bye Blemish" absolutely works and since discovering this gem of a drying lotion that does exactly what it claims and created to do, it's the only acne drying and healing product I purchase with q-tips, use and highly recommend to family and friends too. Loyal customer for nearly a decade and being there's only one pharmacy store chain that I found sells this blue and pink box bottle of miracle acne healing lotion that works within days, not a week, I'm glad it's available on Amazon too!

Why pay full price when this works just as well as name brand variants!?I have had some really good results with this. It does not scar or burn the skin, like some other chemical based peels/drying agents. It actually lightens up scars too.Two tips:1) I usually keep this overnight. I bought a couple of 100% pure soft cotton hand towels and place them over my pillow, since this stuff rubs off when dry. This way I don't have pink pillows with a rotten egg smell :)2) Use a makeup/fine paint brush instead of a q-tip to apply it. There is a lot of waste with the q-tip.
