Sennheiser OCX 685i Adidas Sports In-Ear Headphones - White (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I purchased a pair CX680 over 2 years ago and only had 2 complaints#1 the molding kept breaking and sliding down the wire which is more annoying than anything else which was temporarily resolved with crazy glue #2 the cord was way too short w/o the volume extension and then it was way too long with it which was a headache to deal with. The sound (clarity & bass) was amazing however so I was reluctant to upgrade but the OCX685 resolves both my issues. Flexible enough to wrap around my ear so no more broken molding annoying me on my runs and the cord is just the right size so you don't have to worry about a 3 foot cord getting all tangled up in your arms while you run or workout. This one also comes with a volume control so I can still manage my music from the cord. For those who are worried about the sound please try each earbud for the perfect fit which leads to the perfect amount of bass and treble. I definitely don't see a difference in sound quality which makes me disappointed I didn't upgrade sooner.

By far the BEST set of headphones I have ever purchased for working out. Water-proof, durable and good-looking! Not to mention the sound-stage is very crisp and clear, better than I ever could have imagined! I actually use these when I am laying on the bed watching something on my iPad, as opposed to the more expensive headphones I used to wear. They are also very comfortable - the over-the-ear design does not weigh down the tops of your ears like some models do - rather they mold to the top of your ears and fit rather well :)The fact that they have in-line buttons for the iPhone is just icing on the cake - and a built-in microphone! So if you are working out, or doing something around the house, you can take the call without disturbing your work. And I have used them in my car too, people have told me that I sound like I am in the same room with them :)Great investment! Would highly recommend!

Update: 3.5 months in, and the right ear bud has stopped working. We'll see how the warranty works out now, I guess.BUY THE WARRANTY WHEN YOU ORDER THESE HEADPHONES. I love these headphones, I really do - they're the only ones that stay over my ear firmly in-place, they're comfortable, and they're unobtrusive. I have used these exact headphones for five years straight now. However, over the course of these five years, I have had to purchase a new pair almost twice a year because, inevitably, one of the earbuds stops working. After the first time it happened, I thought it was just a one-time malfunction. Then it happened to the second pair. And the third. And the fourth, fifth, and, as of this morning, sixth pair. In fact, this most recent pair lasted only two and a half months. I ordered the sixth pair on September 6th, and today (November 23rd) the left earbud stopped working. So I ordered a seventh pair. Why do I keep buying them? Not because I like spending the money, I can tell you that. I have tried two different headphones during these past six years and both of those were returned because they just didn't sit well and kept falling out.But I will say this - this seventh pair will be the last time I buy these. To have a pair of headphones last only two and a half months is insane. While my first five pairs we purchased from a different seller without a warranty, and while I didn't see the warranty option for my sixth pair, I bought the warranty for this last pair and will absolutely use it when these headphones inevitably break. But I will not be paying $45 for these again. I will have to suck it up and search for a different pair (if you have any recommendations - please comment with them!) and I will 100% be sad about that. But my wallet won't be.So, buyer beware: BUY THE WARRANTY.

They fit "over" my ear and stay in place but I'm not sure if I have big ears because the loop fits over the front portion of my ear but not over the front. Is that clear? The part that goes in the ear is very comfortable as it fits without being jammed into the ear like the noise canceling ones I also own. They are very light. I've worn these for hours at a time and they stay comfortable. Do not move at all while exercising. Have not had these on the driving range but imagine they'll be great.Music is very good with crisp and clear high end and mid range. Low end is weak and the weak link in the buds. Not great but still very nice overall sound.Microphone works great with my iPhone. This allows me to keep them on for hours and know I'll get any calls and the call quality will be good.Overall, very good if a bit less than amazing.UPDATE: After many hours and many sessions, I may have discover something about these buds, and perhaps this style. While these are not like the noise canceling in-ear headphone I have (those require you to put/place/twist/jam the buds into your ear), these buds perform better when placed gently into the beginning of the ear cannel opening. The soft tip then holds the buds in place and THE BASS IS MUCH MORE APPROPRIATE. This means I place them on my ear and then very gently press them just a touch. On my left ear, this is more noticeable than on my right. I assume my ears are not symmetrical. Sound is much better if they are in my ear as, I assume, they were intended to be in my ear.

I once purchased a pair of headphones in Korea because the Bose pair I took for my travels broke. I thought that the 5 dollar pair that I bought would carry me over since I only had a couple of days left, but I launched that thing as far away from me as possible after listening to it for less than a minute hoping to never have to listen to such ear-drum scratching noises again. But alas, here we are again. The pair that I threw away has seemingly come back in a different casing to exact vengeance on me. Holy crap, do these sound terrible. I did a comparison of these to the Samsung earbuds that came with my phone, and the Samsung ones sounded like honey after listening to these. I bought these thinking that the negative reviews were overly critical, but no. Just... avoid them. Please, for the love of everything that is holy, do not buy these.

These really are great headphones. I'm no expert and won't pretend to know about bass or sound quality but I wanted a set of headphones for the gym that wouldn't fall off when I run and that's what I got in these. To me they sound great and I'm told they aren't noisy to others either which is important in public spaces. The controls aren't compatible with my android phone which is annoying but was mentioned in the description so I can't knock a star off for that. The cable is a decent length and they come in a little carry bag so they don't get tangled up with other stuff in my gym bag. I think they look really stylish and the over ear style means they stay put. They are even comfy to wear with my tragus piercing which I haven't found with any other headphones other than big can style ones which aren't great for a sweaty session in the gym. So if you are just an average jo that likes your music then I think these are a great buy.

haven been using this model for over two years and it works like a charm. so happy, i bought this one extra before they phase it out.have tried tons of other headphones, and none fit so well and you wont barely notice them even when sleeping on one side. the amount of abuse they can stand is certainly very remarkable, specially for the price.

Awesome experience. It appears to be overpriced. But once you start using it, it justifies its price tag. Clear voice and bass. Designed for Apple devices but works perfectly with my Nexus 4.If is designed in such manner that the ear plugs don't come out easilw unless you want them to be. The nearest competitor to it its price range is Klipsch Reference S4 series headphones. I have used them too, but they had a very messy wiring. Go for it.

Ce casque audio est remarquable pour le sport, c'est exactement celui qui je cherchais : pratique, il ne tombe pas quand je cours ; confortable, à la bonne taille (et il y a 3 embouts permettant d'adapter éventuellement aux oreilles plus petites ou plus grandes) ; et sans être à la pointe de la hi-fi compte tenu de sa taille, il a une excellente qualité sonore, et une bonne isolation du bruit extérieur (le bruit ambiant est estompé, sans être totalement masqué) ; enfin, il est facile à entretenir. Bref, ce casque audio développé par Sennheiser et Adidas correspond parfaitement à mes attentes.
