2003 BMW 325i automatic. New MAF seemed to work. I was getting lean codes for bank 1 and bank 2 for a while. Before you purchase this item make sure you already covered ALL areas for a possible vacuum leak, or faulty fuel pump. It helps to have a smoke machine and a fuel pressure gauge for diagnosis. I had a combination of a failing maf and some major vacuum leaks. Check your long term fuel trims. Mine was reading +11.7% both banks and short term was on the plus side still after fixing the vacuum leaks. I had my fuel pump changed too because it already has 110K miles on it just for maintenance. Raising the RPMs to 2500-3k, long term % doesn't seem to go down, so I was sure it was the maf. New sensor brought it back down to +2.3% long terms. Definitely a fix.The difference in voltage of the new maf and the old one are the same. At idle on P, it's reading around .728V signal wire, on the scan tool it is 3.6 grams/sec. My problem was during acceleration the maf underestimates the airflow that's why lean codes pop. All four o2 sensors are new as well. It could be a lot of things for others but I hope this helps someone out there. Don't clean this kind of maf it's a hot-film, could cause more damage to the sensor. Only replace with genuine parts.

Worked as it should
My 2001 E46 original MAF sensor failed after nearly 221 K miles. I originally scrimped and purchased an expensive but non OEM unit which had a glitch with a signal loss.. Car ran fine but could not clear the error.Purchased and installed this unit and problem has gone away. No more annoying " service engine soon " light! As E46 enthusiast's might know, changing out my brake pedal switch and this MAF unit let the CPU tell cruise control to work correctly. These cars are rather sensitive to certain circuit driven parts which is really f#@&ing annoying!BMW is most likely holding propriety rights on much of their CPU driven sensors and controls and forcing us to pay absurd sums to replace their failed product.Mini owners beware.

BMW e46 320i
I have BMW e46 320i, that part fit my car perfectly. Before i had p1084, p1086 and p0313.So first i changet CCV, some vacuum lines (not all of them, and now i suffer😂)Some o-rings, oil gasket, etc.So when i placed that MAF, all fail codes disappeared and i drive the car daily for around 3 weeks, the check engine light has not come back yet.

OEM Quality MAF Sensor
Yes, finally found what was making my BMW 325i throw P0171 & P0174 (both banks lean) CEL codes. Apparently the old MAF sensor was under-reporting actual airflow and causing my CEL issue. Installed new MAF and check engine light went out after driving a few miles. Thanks for the good service. I verified the received part had the identical P/N on it as my old unit so new part looks to be a genuine OEM replacement.

I've rated it that low not because it is bad or faulty
I've rated it that low not because it is bad or faulty, but rather because I ordered the wrong part number MAF sensor - my own mistake.I'll just keep it, you never know when I may help somebody someday, with it.
