Snow chain checkpoints will let me pass without much searching when they see the 4x4 logo on the back of my 2016 Toyota TRD 4x4
I was driving through a snow chain checkpoint and the guy was looking for proof that my 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 truck was indeed a 4x4. Yes, there is a giant sticker on the side of my truck which says 4x4 TRD, but most people are accustomed to checking the back of the truck or SUV for the 4x4 logo. This is what prompted me to search Amazon for this product. There is an OEM version, but it was $25Cons:The 3m sticky back does show a little but you need to be up close to see it. From a distance, it looks like an OEM emblem.

Good quality product
The size is perfect for the rear sides of my small pickup. I went from decal to this stick-on after a paint job.The stick-on held great even through a car wash several times until now almost a year later. I'll just order another one and this time I'll made sure the spot I stick it on will be very free of any oils, dust or oxidation. Great Product!

Nice, except
Nice, except: the 3M adhesive backing is white, and is thick enough to be visible after the decal is applied. I plan to use a thin, black marker to minimize this white, visible backing along the edge. My vehicle is black, and it's very noticeable. If you have a light-colored vehicle, this would be a non-issue. I wish I had black marked the edging BEFORE I had applied the decals.

Short term
I live in a far southern state where it's humid and hot, so that might be a factor, but this thing is cheaply made. It's been on for a few months maybe, and the paint is already dull and leaves black powder on your hand if you accidentally touch it. You can also see the sticker back already separating from the emblem. I expect it will fall off in another month or so.I'll be looking at other brands next time

Would not recommend.
The white foamy adhesive sticks out as an outline and makes the black 4x4 symbol look pretty dumb on my red Tacoma. Also, bows out making it hard to stick securely. Normally good at bargaining on Amazon but this is a true get what you pay for. Can't see this lasting more than a month or 2 before falling off and does not look too good in the meantime.
