Thin body, great sound
Thin guitar great for travel and beginners. Has a great sound despite being a relatively inexpensive option. The case is sturdy and the stand is a nice edition. Built-in tuner is the best feature and the ability to plug in is very helpful.

Great Easy to Play Guitar
Great easy to play guitar...can not beat this for the price. I have own this guitar for over three months and is very happy with this instrument. The hard case is a added bonus that makes this package even better deal. Bought this as a practice guitar (since l own three additional guitars) it quickly became my favorite guitar for performances. Plus you can count on the quality and sound reputation of a Yamaha instrument.

Great deal
Bought as a gift for a beginner with "wee hands" - I've played for a while on a variety of guitars and I'm very impressed with the quality and sound of this Thin Line - sounds great over an amp too. Overall great deal as the guitar alone usually goes for close to $300.

Nice guitar, bad package
Guitar plays nicely but save yourself the trouble & don’t buy the package “deal.” You’ll end up buying other accessories (capo, guitar strap, etc.) anyway.

Really Satisfied (so far)
I've had the guitar for just a week and I'm a near beginner, so this is sort of a 'for what it's worth' review. That said, I'm really impressed. It's a beautiful instrument with great feel and sound, amplified or not. The case that came with it was a real surprise as well. I was expecting a basic box, not the solid, well built chamber I got. This Yamaha guitar has a fine reputation, with good reason. It's hard to imagine finding a comparable (new) instrument for less money.
