Small but powerful
Very bright light!!! Be careful if you put your hand in front of the beam it will burn you. Watch where you put your hand when your turning it off. If you need a super bright compact light this is it. We'll worth the money and a great investment.

Happy Trails with bright light
The helmet mounted light fit my existing removable fixture allowing me to snap the light onto the top of my helmet in seconds and continue riding. The light is very bright and gives a clear view of the road or trail in low light conditions or night time. Used with a fixed front light mounted on the handle bars, I had the flexibility to keep the immediate path illuminated and search further ahead. I was also very visible to oncoming traffic.

Superb, and a keeper
A+ bike light! On strobe mode in dark forest paths is like a rave thru space. Bright and of good weight. Sits well on helmet comfily. Has multiple modes. Highly recommend!

Not the greatest mounting option
Overall it's a fairly effective and useful light. It's bright enough, though it'll last only a little over an hour on the brightest setting. Easy to use, variety of modes. I didn't keep it long, however, because the mount didn't agree with me. No matter how I placed it, the mount still wobbled on my helmet, and gave me a headache after a few miles. I like the idea, but I think another mounting option would be nice.

Brightest bike light I've ever had
BrightRoad BR-800 Front/Rear Bike Lights: I purchased this item to replace a very old Bell incandescent bike light. This is hands down the brightest bike light I've ever had, I don't know why I didn't get an LED light a long time ago. These lights give me serious peace of mind on the road. I'm not sure from what maximum distance you can see them, but when I am riding at night, other cyclists and pedestrians generally realize I'm approaching from behind at a distance of about 30 yards or so (I ride pedestrian paths, city streets, bike trails, mountain roads, and highways). Some people will just be perpetually oblivious of their surroundings, but with these lights on my bike, I haven't yet come across someone who didn't know I was there. It was easy to install, no tools needed; the front light tightens onto the handlebar with a heavy-duty plastic clamp similar to a cinch clamp or a hose clamp (you just adjust the tightness by hand). The rear light wraps onto the seat post with a heavy rubber strap. After that, the front light slides off its strap with a strong latch and the rear light unscrews from its strap. They charge with a common USB micro B phone charger cable. The lights are incredibly bright; I pass other bikes with similarly bright lights, I would say it feels about the same as driving at night. Just make sure to aim the light at the road and not straight ahead. The front light lasts four hours on the highest setting, but I haven't ridden long enough to kill it on the medium, low, or pulse settings; I haven't killed the rear light either in one ride. The front light power button glows blue until the battery is near dead, then begins flashing red. When this happens, I set it to low and get probably another hour out of it. I don't really pay attention to the rear light and it is always still working when I'm done riding. My only gripe is with the front light's battery life of four hours on high, but honestly, a four-hour battery life is very good for such a bright LED. I'm just being crotchety because it limits my night rides to four hours. It's easy enough to switch between high and low depending on the lighting, which helps conserve some power. One unexpected bonus about these lights: they're housed in aluminum. I dropped my front light pretty hard on the road one night and the case really took it like a champ. It was so relieving to discover I didn't just bust my new light. I highly recommend not being a butterfingers.UPDATE 08/22/2019: Two months in and these lights are still functioning well. I had thought I finally broke the tail light on a rough ride including some wet roads, gravel, and poorly-maintained pavement; once home the unit wouldn't charge unless I held the cable in the port firmly. Fortunately, the lights have a one-year warranty, but even more fortunately, it turns out my charger cable was the one that was dying. So these lights survived another trial! Definitely still a five-star product!

This is the best bike/scooter/golf cart/walk your dog light you’ll ever own.
I have a Glion electric scooter. It truly is my “last mile” transport. I own a Nissan Leaf in Austin Texas and we have a plug in anywhere program that costs all of $4.17 month and to take advantage of it, I have to park my car 7/10ths of a mile from my house, and charge the car - often retrieving it later that night. For this I use the scooter, and as I’m in my 50’s, and as the Glion has a pretty lame headlight, I worry about running into a pot hole, crack in the pavement, etc, while going 12 or so miles an hour and crashing the scooter and hurting myself badly. (Yes I wear a really good helmet. This set of lights is remarkable. The headlamp is compact, easily attaches to the handlebars of the scooter, easy to aim one attached and is so bright it lights up the road for 100 feet or so. The tail light is also very bright and means no one but a drunk is going to rear end me.The lights detach easily, and the slender design means they fit in the pocket of my pants easily. Both of these terrific lights last a long time and are easily recharged using a standard mini-usb cord.I recently visited family in Florida. They use a vintage electric club cart, golf cart, to get around their village and though the cart goes 22 mph, or so, the old school lights draw a lot of power and light up maybe 10 feet in front of the cart. I slipped this LED light below the windshield and it lights up 4 times the distance of the original lights and if I don’t use the cart’s lights, I get extra miles on a recharge of the cart - my wife thinks I’m a little weird for doing so, but it’s the first time I’ve ever been comfortable driving the cart at night at full speed. The only CON is sort of a plus. It’s so bright on all three settings, that if you try to use it as a flashlight, to find something in the dark, the light it throws, up close, while pointing away from you is blinding. The thing is like one of those military tactical flashlights. This is hands down the best purchase I’ve made in quite a while - it has certainly made me feel safe while driving the school with my old guy eyes, after dark.
