FANTECHRVF4XL RVF Exterior Wall Mount Centrifugal Duct Fans, 4" White

After a long search finally found this extractor wich works very good. It's hard to find an extractor of this size (4") and for exterior mount.

The quality of this fan exceeded my expectations. The motor and it's bearings are of excellent quality. The entire assembly is well designed. The variable speed (with optional remote control) allows dialing in the ideal air flow for different needs. Without the remote, an internal variable setting allows presetting one desired rate of airflow. The manufacturer makes other models with a similar design for different airflow needs. Having the fan mounted outside greatly reduces fan noise inside. Highly recommended.

I have installed a few of these over the years, they are solid units that give a long trouble free life.They are not quiet by modern fan standards however, so make sure the person you are installing it for knows that it is noisy like older fans used to be.

Bad assembly at factory and/or bad QA. Had to disassemble and grind off poor riveting job because the fan was rubbing on the shroud.

Used this as an exhaust vent booster for a clothes drier. The exhaust was a 4 inch PVC tube with multiple bends at a total length of 25 feet which restricted the warms exhaust flow too much.As a result our drier needed to be run twice at max heat and time to dry a load of blue jeans... now with this installed with a current sense switch wired to the drier outlet to power the fan automatically when needed, we can dry the same load of jeans on a energy saving setting once per load. keep in mind that this unit does not come with any wiring so be prepared.

I have a room where there's no window...just a very heavy sliding door that's hard to open. I needed something to draw air through the room for circulation. It took me a while to find someone to install it for me, but once it was, I'm totally happy with its performance. There is noise, but it's a good reminder to turn it off once I leave the room. It's not noisy...just a normal hum.

Nothing included beyond what you see here except screws. Very high quality, quiet unit. Sooooooo much quieter than through the wall Broan fan. Highly endorse it. You will need a section of four inch round pipe to go through the wall and a spring loaded damper that will close whenever the fan isn't on.

Powerful suction. Smartly moves the fan noise from inside the bathroom to outside the house.

Runs very smooth and quiet. Installation isn't complicated. Will definitely get another one on my next vent project.

Product works well and installs easy. This is the 4th one I have now and all still operate properly.
