Men's Canoe Stanley Slide Sandal with Concealed Orthotic Arch Support

I’ve used Vionic inserts and sandals for a number of years now. Struggled through plantar fasciitis for quite a while. After switching to Vionic inserts, all pain went away within a few days. These sandals fit very well, comfortable and I walk 20-30k steps a day.

I have very high arches and have probably bought 8 different , therapeutic type orthotic slides trying to find a pair with enough arch support. These are the first pair that I feel I can wear. In fairness, I just got them but I know enough about my feet to tell whether these are wearable just by walking around for 5 min. They are extremely well made. true to size and fairly comfortable. Yes, you can buy OOFOS etc that are very soft..but they have NO support. If u have high arches, you just have to have the support or your arches will ache and u will get PF.I will update this review in a few weeks to see I'm right about these.

So they're sandals that are also highly orthapedic (I can't spell). Wearing these have all but removed my Plantar issues, and they provide a lot of support and still look nice.I have 1 complaint (and others have voiced this also) they aren't adjustable as they are claimed to be. The design is kind of baffling, I don't understand it. Essentially it's a neoprene strap, and over that is a leather flap with some velcro. I guess you can make them a little tighter by moving the leather flap, but the neoprene strap doesn't adjust. In turn, these aren't really that adjustable, AND if you try to make them tighter it creates a bit of a wrinkle in the look of the leather, so instead of a nice loop you get an odd sort of shape.Now, I hope that my description doesn't stop someone from buying these, and I will say that over time they did stretch a little. I just am confused by the supposed adjustable aspect of this sandal as right now, it's not really that adjustable, and the design is odd.Vionic knows more about shoes than I do, so I'm sure they have their reasons - I just wish they would tell me what they are.If you are looking for a nice pair of leather sandals that have a bit of "dressier" side to them, these offer that and a very comfortable, very contoured footbed, and so I'm really glad I purchased them.Apparently, after some research I found, these particular sandals have more of their newer technology than the more inexpensive slides vivonic offers, and the footbed is better.So they're leather, have a nice look, have a great footbed, and have excellent tread/traction. the one con is the weird semi-adjustable nature.So, if you like the way they look, buy them - they're nice, just don't count on them getting wider via adjustments. FYI I have a fat foot so if I can fit in these, most people can.

These slide-on's have a great arche support that took a little time for me to get used to, but I absolutely love them. The leather across the top of the shoe is adjustable but just by a small amount. Due to me having neuropathy in my feet, I cannot wear shoes that are too tight or narrow but these "slide-on's" are great! I've worn these shoes every day since they arrived and they are are holding up extremely well. My Podiatrist recommended that if I was going to wear slide-on's he highly recommend Iconic's and he was absolutely right.

Vionic doesn't make a simple adjustable leather slide for women although it does make many beautiful decorated slides, sandals, boots, and pumps. I purchased the size 8 black leather Vionic men's slide because it corresponds to a size 9.5 in women's sizing and gives me the simple, tailored look I want in a go-to type of footwear.I find Vionic footwear to be the most practical and comfortable for summer living. It holds up extremely well, and the foot bed is a marvel for people with maximum pronation problems such as I suffer.

Arch support is great. My husband says they saved his feet. After a day at work, he puts them right on and they realign his feet again. Very supportive. He has a narrow foot with high arches, and they fit fine.
