Look like quality but foot got wet walking thru a puddle
Fit was good. Look like high quality. Seemed tough and durable. But i stepped in a 1/2" puddle and spent the rest of the day with wet feet. Ive got sneakers that can handle a puddle. Ridiculous...

Buy these Boots
I have tried several boots from different manufacturers over the years. I had 3 pairs of a Red Wing boot I loved but the soles weren't replaceable and the boots eventually wore out. So, moved on to Timberland. Have two different versions of their "Pro" boots, one with a non-repairable sole, and one with. The non-repairable sole boots broke in and were comfortable. However, they wore out too, and the soles cracked open. The other pair is till going but their was a substantial break-in period. I also own another pair of Red Wing 'Irish setters' and They absolutely kill my feet after 5-6 hours.Enter Ever-Boot. I bought the Steel toe version. $70. From minute one these boots were comfortable. NO break in period it seems. Wore them all day for three days brand new, no issues. I even had to step into 3" of water a few times the first day and my feet stayed dry. They are roomy, but I would say not oversize. I didn't want to buy a half-size lower and find they were too tight so i just bought my size and I'm satisfied. For a $70 boot, these can't be beat thus far. The sole is, as some stated, harder rubber so make sure to wear them on concrete and gravel to get the soles broken in and scuffed up before you take them onto a roof for instance, otherwise you'll slide right off. If they last a year I'll have gotten my money"s worth. I'm already thinking of ordering a second pair. With Amazon's return policy, just order them. You can't go wrong.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~UPDATE 10/13/20I stand by the original review I posted on these boots. However, I see where some reviewers are coming from when they state these boots run a size or half-size too big. After wearing them for construction on numerous occasions I have noticed they have gotten more roomy inside. Now when I go down an incline, my foot slides a bit inside the boot. So, you MAY want to order a half size smaller and see what happens during subsequent use. They're still pretty decent but I do find that no matter what boots I'm wearing, I really need to change them out midday for another pair as my feet get tired of the same boot after working in them for 4-5 hours.

Fantastic
I got these boots last summer. Used them a few times. I used them again today for doing a little digging in a ditch behind the house that had gotten debris and stuff in it over the winter.Despite sinking over the top of the foot in water (not quite up to the laces, my feet were dry.I have plantar fasciitis, so the insert that came with them was no good for me (none of them are). But it came out easily to be replaced with a more supportive insole.Great boots.I usually wear a 9 but I ordered a 9.5, and I'm glad I did. These fit perfectly! A 9 would have been too small. I always figure it's better to get a size slightly too big and have to wear another pair of socks than to get one too small that doesn't fit or kinda hurts.

Great value
While they aren't the most comfortable pair of boots in the world, so far they've been very durable. I work in the waste Management industry and I find there isn't a day that goes by where I'm not walking through mud, water, sand. after one month of use the boots of held up well and my feet almost always stay dry. Just replace the insoles

Very Basic No Frills Work Boot
My favorite work boot the manufacturer quit making so I thought I would give these a try. I went with these because I like this style of boot and they are getting harder to find. For the price they are fine. They come with 2 insoles -- the basic and a better version. However, a note is included saying if the boot doesn't fit use the original insole, which I had to do due to the upgraded insole being too tight when wearing. The basic insole has no arch support and makes it feel like your walking on a pair of Chinese wooden clogs. I would go to a half size bigger to put the better insole in.The boot is fine but doesn't repel water at all. I like a taller upper structure on a boot -- these are standard -- i've gotten use to them and it does make them lighter but just be aware top of boot is ankle height.Overall for price I can complain but prefer a little better boot .

comfortable boots
A good work boot for the price. I purchased these to replace a different pair that made my feet hurt after 4 hrsI am hard on boots and I have good hope for these they are not the fanciest but will get the job done. After a 8 in the shipyard my feet are fine.I have been using them for about a week now and they haven't burned up yet.

Really good boot for the buck
the boot its self 5 stars they are comfortable and they stay dry. The tread4 stars the tread is good but poor traction on wet floors. The laces 2 stars just get some good laces. These laces are made from cotton string and will brake. My 350 dollar boots last me 9 months these boots last me 5 months im very tough on footware so for the price this is a really.good boot and on my second pair
