I does start out minty and then changes to a kinda gross, bleh taste. My daughter spit hers out LOL but the rest of persevered on. Afterwards, we all tried the same ice cream. The 3 of us that stuck out the bleh taste couldn't taste anything sweet at all! Nothing! It was just "cold" of the ice cream. My daughter who spit hers out said there was no taste as first but then "came back" after a couple bites.So these definitely work but it looks like you most likely need to stick out the "bleh taste" at middle to end of the lozenge to get the full effect.Boyfriend says he won't try them cause he likes his sugar. Sigh. Oh well. LOL!!!!!!!!!I plan on using these as I transition back into the Keto lifestyle and helping with sweet cravings along the way. I purchased the 90 count to use as often as needed :)

It was ruins the flavor off all food not just sugar foods.

After my first application of the product I tried a piece of candy and it was totally yucky! I then tried some potato chips and they tasted like a lemon and cardboard....wow! After this- I experimented with some pizza and the cheese part was fine but the crust had a definite bland and unappealing taste.For me, the product lasts for a while and seems to reduce my cravings overall. Very pleased that it works and I will be continuing to use it to shed a few pounds.

I had high hopes for this. It it was a huge disappointment. It’s nothing but a mint. And not a very good one either.

This product gets a big "meh" from me. The taste is kind of a weird minty flavor that gets progressively less pronounced as you suck on the tablets. It does work to make sugar taste like nothing, but it does nothing at all if you have a craving.My bad rating comes from the fact that I was charged $69.99 for a 30 day supply. I thought I had it on hold, but was shipped another supply, which I returned directly at the Post Office. Never opened it, never touched it. I was informed that because it is an ingestible, once it leaves their warehouse, it can't be returned. So I'm stuck paying $69.99 for a product I will never use. So the product that has only been touched by the Sweet Defeat folks can somehow get contaminated in its sealed tube, in its sealed box?? I don't think so.
