I read some of the reviews and love the other ideas on what to use this on, chicken, fish etc. But, what I found most fascinating is my family is not the only weirdo's that use this for potato salad. I remember peeling so many potatoes the night before a family gathering and using clean refrigerator drawers to make and store that much potato salad. My adult children are the 4th generation to make potato salad this way. I remember when the stores started to quit selling it and my mom and aunt would panic going from store to store to find any bottles of it and when they did they bought them all. So glad they still make it and can be purchased on line. I order it every spring, so we can have "orange potato salad" at family gathering all summer long.

It was a miracle that all the bottles weren’t broken in shipping. All the bottles were grouped together and wrapped in the smallest, thinnest, flimsiest plastic wrap and put in a box too large for the items so the rolled around the box in shipping. I feel lucky they arrived unbroken! The salad dressing is superb! It gets an A+ and the packing an F-

I grew up on 1890 dressing as a marinade for chicken and fish and so did my son. It's over 10 years that it is almost impossible to find. The stores won't order it and looked at me as if I was from outer space because they never heard of it. Duh, I finally realized to check the internet and found. My entire family is in heaven. There is nothing that tastes as good as chicken marinated in 1890 and grilled on the bbq. My friends who have never had it licked their fingers at my last bbq.

Did not get complete order.Dressing is great. Contacted Amazon and received credit. Will try again and see if I get a full order.

I couldn’t find the traditional French dressing from Ralph, so I got this. I am fairly satisfied but still the sharp ‘tang’ that I was looking for is only slightly present in the taste. One lid of the bottle broke and made a real mess in the package. I am still rating this four star, based on the taste only.

I loved this dressing since I was a child. Not able to purchase it any longer. If they get this in, buy it, you will not regret it. Great Product.
