If you love sculpture, you will love this book. Beautiful photography of an amazing array of ceramic sculptures ranging from small to huge. The settings are everything from standard beauty shots of finished pieces to indoor and outdoor installations.

I have a total of five of the '500' books, but this one is my favorite. I am a ceramics sculptor and this is so inspiring. The artists represented in 500 Ceramic Sculptures range from cartoonists to fine artists. That is the beauty of ceramics; it can become pretty much anything you can imagine. If you love ceramics or sculpture or art in general, you will love owning this book.

So many talented artists. I could go through this book everyday and find something new and interesting to inspire me to create.

One of the best of the 500 Series. Lots of eye candy if you are into ceramic sculpture. Pieces range from understated to challenging. Pick this one over 500 Vases, it is more varied and interesting.

As with all of the Lark 500 series, this book won't disappoint! The images are wonderful and show such a huge variety of ideas and techniques. If you have enjoyed the other books in the series, you should also enjoy this one.

I bought this book to find some visual inspiration there is however not a whole lot of text to put the pieces in perspective. Plus they have a lot of artist repeated through the pages. If they had over 7000 submissions for work I wish they would curate different artists with new ideas rather than repeating an artist's works and even some of the same old hackneyed ideas for sculpture. Seems like a library or academic type book.

A book to inspire. There are some wild and crazy artists in this book. Every kind of sculpture, from the bizarre to the too cute for words.

o livro é bom como pesquisa de referencia, no brasil principalmente, é muito dificil ter acesso a produção contemporânea em cerâmica. Nesse sentido o livro me atendeu perfeitamente.

Excelente en todos los aspectos, te da una visión de la escultura de los ceramistas contemporáneos, libro sencillo, sin pretensiones que logra todos los objetivos propuestos.

I really like these Lark Ceramics books because they're packed full of great photos of really unusual pieces that get me thinking about stuff I could make. Also, they skip pretentious arty talk. They just show the piece, sometimes picking out a detail in second photo, and then give the artist's name, size, details of the materials and techniques used. That's it. No B.S. Great to flip through looking when you're looking for inspiration.
