TOTO CST744S#11 Drake Elongated Bowl and Tank, Colonial White

This toilet is very good. I bought it to replace the builder grade toilets in our new construction home. Those toilets were clogging all the time, not this one. It is very powerful. I've been very umpressed by the power and have never seen a toilet this powerful in a home. It is not any louder than the standard toilet being replaced either. It has been clogged, so its not unstoppable. However, it was easy to clear and extremely rarely happens.It looks great too. I had no problems installing it myself and have since helped a family member put theirs in too. Get this one!

MOUNT THE TOILET SEAT BEFORE YOU INSTALL TO INSURE IT WILL FIT CORRECTLY!!!This is a great toilet but there is a QC problem. I'm the second person to experience it. The holes in the toilet bowl used to mount the toilet seat are misaligned by about 1/4 inch. As a result the toilet seat hangs over one side of the toilet bowl. Unfortunately, mounting the toilet seat is usually the last thing you do when installation. By that time the toilet has already been installed.Amazon is a fantastic company and they will replace it but what a hassle and expense to install, remove and reinstall a defective toilet.

I initially bought one because it was so highly rated and pretty well priced. After installing it as a replacement and after seeing for myself, I found that the reviews and ratings were correct, so I went ahead and ordered and installed a second in our second bathroom. Installation was easy enough, and the shipping was great - the pieces were extremely well protected from any damage.I'm only sorry that I'm out of bathrooms to put another Toto in!

So, what can I say about this toilet that will avoid grossing everybody out...Well, it looks good. Nothing fancy, though the flush handle is fancier than usual. It's also small, smaller than most toilets I've seen. If space is at a premium, as it is with my bathroom, you should seriously consider this toilet.It works. I mean, it really works. You press the handle, and whoosh, everything disappears immediately. No holding down the handle, no swirling witch's brew, no stragglers, just whoosh!Bonus points! It refills the tank fast! Like, way before you've washed your hands fast. If you've ever grown annoyed waiting for the tank to refill, you will be quite pleased with this commode...assuming you have fairly good water pressure.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!~~~~~~~~~UPDATE~~~~~~~~~After two years of throwing everything I could at this thing, it is still going strong.I had to replace the filler thingy, which was simple enough. The tank is on the small side, which meant a tighter work space and a little adjustment here and there, but no significant problems.No stains, no cracks, no leaking, nothing broken, just a good looking, functional toilet.I'm in the process of buying a house, and all of the bathrooms have those tiny round toilets. Not my style. So I'll be ordering three more of these as soon as escrow closes.Still Highly Recommend!

My kids kept clogging up our main toilet, to the point where we were plunging a couple of times a week at a minimum. I did a little research and saw the Toto was recommended for its ability to flush. It was my first install which was pretty straight forward. We've had it in place for about a month and it has not disappointed. On only a couple of occasions have we even needed a second flush. It's handled everything thrown at it. Haven't plunged once. Before this, I thought toilets were all pretty much the same as far as function. Now I'm debating whether to replace others in the house because this one works so well.

Sucks football sizes, I've been told. There's a black spec right in the middle in the hole that bothers me and should have been rejected, but otherwise it's and excellent toilet.

Did not get the exact toilet I ordered, BUT Amazon did a good job reimbursing the difference. I order the 1.6 but got the Water Saver 1.28 (which actually qualified us for a rebate). I am very happy with the new toilet. Hard to clog it - not that I am trying. Easy to clean. Got the matching soft close toilet seat - really nice upgrade from our 1992 toilet. Like it better than our new American Standard that is in the other bathroom.

Ordered and selected the free shipping option.The toilet arrived in two days, beautifully packaged, and was easily installed immediately.To say that this Toto flushes instantly and completely on very little water is an understatement.As the title suggests it's like magic. The Toto Drake replaces a water-saver from some years back.We were all getting tired of using the plunger all the time. Needless to say it (the plunger) has been removed from the bathroom since the Toto arrived.Nice to know that some things really do improve over time with innovative design and imagination.It's magic!
