THE BEST FROM THE REST; THE SURPRISE SWING LOVER TEST!
This swing is a highly superior product for my hilarious SWING LOVING STARLING! At the age of twenty days having taken her in at get likely age of 13 days we waited four days before purchasing her a temporary cage that came with a swing which by then I'd viewed maybe fifty Starling YouTube videos without seeing ONE ON A SWING!!!I simply decided to hang the cage accessory because it was there to our delight and hers she is the SWING LOVER OF ALL TIME LOL..BUT I KNEW SHE'D NEED A FAR BETTER MADE SEEKING FOR HER FLIGHT CAGE!So along with the rest of Amazon and local stores lol!!!We Bought THREE OF THESE SWINGS to place in various locations in her flight cage being her favorite and noting right away that this SWING is superb!I've purchased others in the past and this product is absolutely the best!I fully recommend it for all smaller birds having owned and enjoyed smaller parrots in my lifetime; including love birds (the second smallest true parrot in the world) and even society finche and parakeets who often aren't given swings yet I've found given the chance they ALL enjoyed a swing but I've not had this much to say regarding a swing before..I'm very selective to say the least and if I'm going to commit I'm known to spoil my special friends to the hilt! (TO DATE: since 5/3/2017 to 5/20/2017 I've invested over $700 on this little surprise gift and my child has inherited the animal gift as I know I brought home just about every critter I could for my mother to "fix"! LolMy first rescue rather silly but at age 2 I brought my grandparents the absolutely fine Basset hound that lived next-door in my two-year-old opinion I felt he needed help lol. This runs in our family but we aren't the type to have a farm of friends, just a Standard Poodle (who's a male by a secret mother) and finally a stay stray cat we officially took in and now Miss Poppy!I'm so glad I found this swing!!!Very Sturdy and well made; also several dollars less than in store finds which never hurts. This adventure began having found an abandoned 13 day old Starling May 3, 2017 who's gone from a downy chick blowing past her fledgling era with growth into full flight capacity and more than doubled in size in her first two weeks lol.I think I created a possible super food adding ingredients as a former executive chef to the recommended diet on the Starling talk website!"Poppy", we named her then found a very famous Starling on YouTube named Poppy also and have again yet to see any videos of Starlings who swing so I thought hmm maybe no one thought wild birds might enjoy swings???I recommend introducing a swing as I imagine with how truly brilliant these most precious creations are that ours isn't the only swing lover as well as other domestic breeds people assume wouldn't use a swing (wild to tame and domestic still have memory instinct of the lovely wind bouncing them as they perched on tree branches! However should you decide to use a swing please take my word having had experienced five other brands that hands down this swing is the most superior on the market and the company delivers at light speed which makes our spoiled baby and her human mother/and my daughter's first rescue (age 11) very please! Our careful decision to keep her (a twenty year commitment)*** unless you barely touch and keep to success post feeding yourself then weaning while still feeding them and introducing offerings from their future wild diet rather than the atypical food varieties they love but wouldn't have in the wild. As self feeders along with your assisting who become full unassisted self feeders and you again keep/have kept contact minimal; once they're two months old they have a high statistical rate of surviving their wild lifespan and they simply take up with other starlings you locate safely and release. Sometimes it's hard to find rescue situations as this species isn't the darling of the day/study away!If you're more involved and the baby growing imprints on you (10 days is ALL it takes) and is being handled and fed yummy things that aren't on the outdoor menu and you free them they'll have a very poor survival rate.So investing in a wild bird (check out legal ownership in your state) that are historically known to become fabulous pets please know that the Starling in domestic captivity lifespan is a two decade commitment. And that's a big decision before you get carried away and create a haven for your new friend as we are.***After two failed attempts to return her to the area my daughter found her to see if her mother was around for resuming her tending and having no such luck, we made the thoughtful decision to fully commit and we are in love and tired lol.Quite the learning experience although she; according to such elaborate day by day diagrams and photos from the Starling gurus really helped me learn that a baby on the ground is there on purpose as a still tended by mother. But how you know if you've found a fledgling with a likely few days to become flight capable vs. one who'd need to return to a nest and one who's abandoned. We even learned as well that it's only a myth that humans touching wild birds of any kind would cause rejection from the mother and can in fact be placed back in the nest or returned to the ground if deemed unharmed and safe from cats etc.I tried twice as Starling babies will imprint upon a human in a short ten days and making that big decision to fully commit. I read that in the overnight stay to understand how this works! However Poppy seems to be her own version of that rule as the first return placing her fifty feet away and watching carefully as she took no time at all to hop all the way back to me lol (that was having her less than 24 hours. And the instinctual reassurance I've never seen having not been educated on ground baby's who do not need to be rescued upon inspection and finding no injury, deeming area safety and researching quickly to identify who you've met and getting a quick education on age and stages. I was fascinated to watch her burrow into the grass and having taken my eyes away she'd have been impossible to find! Very smart these babies are we often mistakenly rescue. After taking her several more times at different distances from us to see what fate would have;it was becoming clear her mother wasn't there. After continuing our educating on identifying her estimated age, we deemed she was a week short of being a fledgling.Having storms the night before the numerous possibilities of her being on the ground too soon built up. And my daughter found her huddled in a pile of leaves just below the school roof.So here we are lol. And I have already begun building her indoor full free flight aviary and I will likely buy many more of these swings and I even plan to place them for use of outdoor wild bird enjoyment to see what happens and how they weather if used! I will update!Meanwhile Poppy was really hoping the Spurs would make it to the playoffs and enjoys watching basketball and television from her temporary cage (now a little take along apartment) so here are a few pictures of madam loving a typical swing so we can compare with pictures asap with her flight cage swings I bought here and we can ALL see for sure that my long version of the Poppy surprise Starling adoption and her love of swings will really be fascinating as tonight she gets HER FLIGHT CAGE WITH THREE OF THESE SWINGS!!!Updates Soon!REMEMBER***THESE PICTURES AREN'T THIS SWING***THIS swing falls off and I'm using the photos to compare to...THE BEST SWING I'M REVIEWING HERE...NEW PICTURES WITH THIS HIGH QUALITY SWING COMING SOON!!!Meanwhile see if your birds are secret singers and swingers;). Fun to watch
I put this in with the doves and one got on it immediately and swung for quite a long time when it would begin to slow down she would flap her wings and get it going again. Fun to watch. I was not sure if they would like it when I got it but figured that in the wild they do swing alot on branches in the wind

bird swing
This swing will swivel and turn when the bird reaches out from a perch and it seems to like to spin or turn it. I would buy the same swing again however I've seen it priced quite a bit lower at Petco for what I think is the same swing. I would recommend it, the bird likes it, and it's a good size for my Cockatiel. I would have given it five stars if it hadn't been priced so much higher than another company sells it for.

700 dollar swing
So I got this for my cockatiel because I have a smaller one for my parakeet and he loves it. Little did I know that she would get her beak caught in the little loop that the hook to hang it is attached to, break her bottom beak off, and have to go to the vet every 2 weeks for 3 months to try and repair it, which didn't work by the way. Her beak will now never grow back thanks to the amount of space inside that little loop, and she can only eat on one side of her mouth. If it was plied shut more or smaller, she never would have gotten it caught. So thanks to this toy that I got for cheaper than it is now, I now have a deformed cockatiel who will never be normal again. If you do still get it, please be sure to ply the loop yourself so there is no space in between just to be safe.

Five Stars
The swing was worth buying. My mom's bits loves it.

Not stable
The quality of the swing is good, but having only one attachment / hook causes the swing to be unstable. This did not work out well for my cockatiel, and he ended up being afraid of it from day one. I'll try to reintroduce again later, and update accordingly, but as of now... not impressed.
