Awesome jacket
Received today. My first impression was the weight. This jacket is heavy and thick and obviously good quality. I stand 6'2 and weigh probably 230-240 with a fairly athletic build and after reading reviews I went with the 3X instead of the regular XL I normally get. It's a hair too big but I think a 2X would be too small. Arms are long enough to cover your wrists while riding (I have stock handlebars- I don't know how they would be with ape hangers). The vents are awesome. I've never had a jacket with vents but it makes a world of difference. 10/10, would recommend.

Very functional heavy riding jacket.
For the price I'm surprised at just how good this jacket is. It was a little stiff when I got it but it has worn in nicely, and the edges of the leather along the stitches are a little rough, although the stitching itself is fine. The leather is very thick and seems tough, plus it has additional armor in places like the elbows which adds protection without making it too rigid. The fit is great, I'm a fairly stocky 5'7 210lbs guy, I have broad shoulders and a large chest and this jacket fits me like a riding jacket should, snug but not tight, very comfortable. The side pockets are a little small, not great for putting your hands in, especially with gloves on, but it does have plenty of pockets and space for things plus pockets within pockets in the front, which can be accessed without unzipping your the jacket and double as vents (double zippers, first opens the vent, second opens the enormous pockets) plus equally large front pockets inside the jacket, plus one smaller one on the right side with a hole you can run wires through. Overall it's very function and I'm very confident it will provide good protection if I ever meet pavement. It has a removable lightly insulating liner (vest like - doesn't extend down the arms) and vents on the chest, back, and arms. It also has zippers on the inside providing access between the lining and leather shell for easy repairs. I have never used it in really hot weather, but it did well on the warmer days I used it on and seems like it will work alright in the heat. It definitely works well in the cold. It's not really a purpose built cold weather jacked, the insulated liner is thin and doesn't cover the arms, the vents leak a little when closed (which is kind of expected) the very top of the front vents are only closed with a buttoned flap, it doesn't let a lot of air in but on a really cold day it's enough... however, with some layers (a regular long sleeve shirt and a denim button shirt over that) I was able to ride in 32 degree weather and my body and arms stayed relatively comfortable.

Nice and value for money !
I have been using this in early Fall and Nov Winters in Boston weather, the jacket is quite heavy and well built to break the wind and the cold. The quality seems to be nice. The leather is hard, but I would assume would soften over time and weather out. The inserts on the arms, shoulders seems to be quite good, but at the back is alrite and could use an upgrade if absolute protection is required. I got 2 sizes up from my regular size to be comfortable on it as I am assuming the size chart is for smaller built than usual in US. The jacket is extremely value for money as compared to anything else out here and would surely recommend it.

High quality jacket
First thing to note, this jacket is heavy, check the product shipping weight - 7 lbs & that’s my only negative comment & the reason for the 1 star deduction. However & to that point if I ever go down, I feel quite confident I will be well protected. It has elbow & shoulder pads which are a very small distraction but I’d rather have them as backup.I’m 6’ 3”, 240 lbs with a former athletic build, gotta a small gut & wear 38 pants. Neck is 18”, shirt sleeve length is 35” & normally wear 2/3X tee shirts. I got a 3XL jacket & it fits just right for me. If I was being super picky, the sleeve length is just a tad long but better long than short. It is a motorcycle jacket so it fits differently than normal jackets.Rode on the freeway at 70 mph, without the extra (removable) liner in 55° weather was was perfectly fine - not hot or cool.I found it to be very well made & it looks great. I did give it a dose of mink oil to condition it & will do some more to make it more supple.I have no problem recommending this jacket - great price for the quality & safety aspect.

Dehydrated buffalo
Ok let's start by saying that I'm 5'7 215 pounds I ordered an xl and it fits the way a motorcycle jacket should a little snug.Other than that it fits great a xxl would have been too much very stiff buffalo to deal with.I don't ride I got the jacket to add to my wardrobe. It is a little heavy and will take a very long time to break in.This is one cool jacket and will last a long time. The leather is rough and thick.if you happen to go down on your bike wearing this I'm positive it will save your hide. It's worth every penny.I ordered it on the 2nd and it arrived 2 days later without prime shipping.A deffinate two thumbs up.You'll like this one. quick update.Upon wearing the jacket it quickly became apparent that the leather is extremely dehydrated. When a leather this stiff is dry the it can't flex and the seams will separate.I grabbed some camp dry mink oil which is recommend for outdoor leather and was amazed at how quickly the hide drank it up.After applying the first coat I waited for about 6 hours and applied a second.I recommend using your fingers to massage it in.The leather quickly became more flexible and supple. And the camp dry also waterproofs as well.
