This Baby Aviator hat was so much more than I expected! I wasn't really sure what to expect with the price and some of the pictures I was looking at made the outside of the hat look like it was a felt fabric. The outside is actually pretty durable cotton, the inside of the hat is super soft and isn't too think so it fits just right on my son's head! the "glasses" are attached so they cannot be lost, but they can move.The hate flaps can also be buttoned together. I'm so happy I made this purchase! If you are contemplating on getting this hat, I say, take the plunge! you won't be sorry!

This hat came folded which caused a crease in the plastic of the glasses part. Very disappointing considering this hat was to be used for a newborn photo shoot. The size of the hat is a little big for a small newborn child but it can be worked out if the material is pulled taught in the back. The glasses are removable as they are held in place with a snap located in the back. The overall quality of the hat isn’t bad and I would actually purschase again if I was for sure it wouldn’t be delivered damaged.Also, please note that I did try to get the crease out by placing a weighted object on it for a day and it did not work. Attached is a picture after I tried to get the crease out. The crease is on the right.

I bought this hat for my grandson but apparently when it was packaged for shipping they bent the goggles and the plastic lenses arrived cracked. The hat is cute but the googles are flimsy. I tried to trim the lenses because the plastic is sharp and we would at least like to get a photo on my grandson but the foam on the back of the googles started peeling off. Very disappointing

Okay so the hat itself is great. Just like the picture, no problems there. However the person who packaged it!!! I've got a bone to pick with you! They folded it in half so that the plastic making up the lens for the googles was folded too, leaving a big crease mark in the plastic. There is NO way to get this out and it could've very easily been avoided by folding it another way. I folded the hat in half without bending the plastic Justine fine. That was really annoying since it could've been avoided had someone taken their time.

I bought this hat for my six month old. We absolutely love it!! People comment on how cute it is everytime he wears it. It's a little big but that just means he will be able to get a lot of use out of it :)

Super cute and very warm hat. It's quite large on my 7 month old but still fits well enough. (I bought it in hopes of him wearing it for a long time.) It was great for his Eggs costume from Boxtrolls and for every day use.The two drawbacks are that 1) as others have mentioned, there is a pretty strong chemical smell and washing it and airing it has helped only a bit and 2) i have to carefully handwash bc the "goggles" are a delicate foam and I feel like machine wash would destroy it. I handwash the hat portion with the goggles hanging out of the sink to keep it dry. It's kind of annoying. Not sure what other people do.

I purchased this for my son's Halloween costume, and also for him to wear this fall. He's 11 months but has a rather large noggin so it fit him well with room. And surprisingly he didn't mind wearing it!Unfortunately it did have a strong chemical odor, but within 3 washes it was wearable. I unglued the attachment in back to remove the goggles before washing and then sewed it closed later. Gentle wash and air dry in the sun.

Bought this pilot hat for my baby's 4 month picture. I thought of making a "time flies" themed photo and felt this was the perfect hat for it. I also bought him a pilot outfit, but unfortunately, it ended up being a bit too big for him. Luckily, the hat (although it was also a tad too big) was enough to pull it off!The material is great quality, very soft and comfortable. It looks a bit big for him, but that just means that it should last him for a long time.I did not get the sticky note pad which is fine, since all I wanted was the pilot hat and the price was great.
