Air dried to ensure minimal movement once installed | Free fixings and fitting instructions included | Fast & free shipping | Comes fully finished ready to install | Handmade to order PLEASE READ: Please be aware as oak is a natural product, each piece will vary with regards to cracks, knots, colour and grain. This adds to the character of the beam. Due to machining and sanding, beams are typically up to 1/2" smaller than the size stated. Some beams may have small areas of pin holing which further adds to the effect, which will be treated with anti infestation solution. As your beam adjusts to room temperature further cracks may appear. This is nothing to worry about. None of the above can be treated as defects. SIZE: This beam is 6" high x 3" deep. Also available in other sizes including: 6"x4", 6"x6", 8"x4" and 4.5"x4.5". FIXINGS: Heavy duty keyhole fixings will be routed and fixed into the back of the beam. Wall plugs and screws are supplied free. These are capable of supporting the weight of the beam with ease. Suitable for masonry walls or stud walls where timber uprights can be located. Not suitable for fixing solely into plasterboard. Unfortunately we don't ship to The Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Island, Outer Hebrides or Shetland Islands.

Very good quality wood & great customer service
Great customer service! I emailed asking what kind of beam would be suitable for a plasterboard wall as I still wanted to create the effect of on oak mantle but was unsure on what would work best, I followed their advice and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The beam comes with screw fixtures and is really good quality wood. Would definitely recommend this brand to anyone needing a quality oak mantle.

Exactly as described, perfect
Beautiful beam lovely colour exactly what we wanted. It shows the pattern of the wood. It is not in situ at the moment as waiting for the plasterer to come. It will finish the fireplace perfectly.
