He chose the name ASICS for his company in 1977, based on a famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which, when translated, expresses the ancient ideal of "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body." What has happened to Asics racing flats?
Trying to replace my well-worn Asics Excel 33s I ordered two pairs of the Roadhawk FlyteFoam. And donated them after a month. Maybe they’re okay for someone heavier, but the stiff soles didn’t work for me. I then ordered the FuzeX TR in my usual 10.5 size. The fit is narrow but okay. The shoes are lightweight and have a low profile (8.5 oz., 5mm drop), but the fuzeGEL and Solyte midsole is stiff and the uppers feel cheap. Why can’t Asics produce a racing flat model of similar quality and longevity to the Gel Nimbus, now in its 19th iteration? See similar review of the Asics Lyteracer TS 7

Excellent low profile sneakers
Nice shoes, not too much padding, which is what I was looking for. They look stylish without calling too much attention to themselves. Would definitely purchase again.

I have read earlier reviews in regards that you need to get a bigger size in order to fit and it’s true I usually wear 10.5 and had to get 11 and still a bit tight from the side but I really like these shoes it looks nice and comfortable to walk on. An advice if you have a wider feet get one size up.

Great Training Shoes!
Another great pair of shoes by Asics. I use them when training at Orangetheory Fitness. Great for short runs on a treadmill, but cannot see them as long range runners. Perfect for the row and weight room. Fit as expected and came on time.

building and putting the right materials in making your shoes.
The TR running shoes need to have more cushion, specially for TR running shoes.

good overall
comfortable to walk in - have not run in them yet (weather) bottom not as supportive as I needed for my workout I needed a harder sole. I can see these good for cardio workouts and some body weight oriented programs.
