Feeling Pampered Taupe Luxury 100% Silk Pillowcase Hair & Facial Beauty Queen/Standard

This pillowcase is so worth having. First of all the value for what you get is amazing. For an all silk pillowcase the price is a steal and this particular color is beautiful with virtually any bedding that you might have. Its a real soft earthy beige and its not super shiny that it offsets the rest of the bedding. Also I bought this specifically for my skin and hair needs because I heard that silk pillowcases help to retain moisture in your skin and hair as you sleep and they don't leave creases on your face like cotton pillowcases do because your face just glides over it. I have to say that I've had it for a month now and I have yet to wake up with creases on my face. My hair is no longer tangled from sleep and I can still feel my moisturizer on my face. When you receive it in the mail, it's beautifully packaged in a light see through mesh baggie with a cute note about your pillowcase and how to care for it. Read how to care for it and commit to memory! I have washed my pillowcase one time and I remembered that it had to be washed with cold water on delicate. However I forgot that it was supposed to be air dried so instead I put it in the dryer on delicate and the lowest heat. My pillowcase lost its sheen and some of the silkiness feel. It has never been the same and for that I am disappointed, but it was my own fault. It still works great, but I can tell the difference. I will definately buy another one in the near future to replace the one I ruined. One last thing, it fits a standard to a large pillow with ease. It has a double flap so the pillow is securely inside the pillowcase and mine hasn't come out yet.

I ordered this pillowcase to replace a high-quality poly satin pillowcase I was using to keep my long, curly hair from tangling while I sleep. The satin worked, but it was just so hot and sweaty, and didn't feel breathable at all. This silk case is just as good at preventing tangles but far more comfortable and breathable. The taupe color is beautiful too, so rich. It looks exactly like the product photo (on my monitor, anyway).My only complaint is that it's really too big for my standard pillow. It's described as "Queen/Standard," so I guess that should have tipped me off, but I sort of hoped it would work well with a standard pillow. Instead, it gapes wide open (it has an overlapping "envelope-type" closure, so there are no buttons or zippers to hold it closed). That's not too attractive, and sometimes it means that my face is on the bare pillow rather than the case while I'm sleeping.I wish I could have given four and a half stars. This case deserves 5 stars for color and material quality -- but you should deduct a star if you have a Standard pillow, because the case is just too big.

I do love that does vendor makes satin pillowcases out of REAL SILK. I have several and use them exclusively. They have so many color selection . Unfortunately, they are about 4 inches too big for a standard pillow and open at the end with no closure so the pillow slips out partially each night. I end up adding a few snaps and sewing the bottom of it so they are better sized. No need to dry clean, I wash them on delicate cycle with bras and panties in a lingerie bag. Then I give them a quick press and they are back to original finish. Warning , there silk, they do wear out easily

This was my first time buying a silk pillowcase and honestly, I was a little skeptical at first. Let me be the one to say, it's a great investment! No silk pillowcases do not make you sweat or stick to your pillow like satin varieties, and they feel absolutely amazing to sleep on. No more pillow creases! Not to mention, I have recently had problems with my face being extremely dry. After sleeping on one of these babies, it hasn't been a problem! These pillows also hold up great in the wash. Ladies, do you wake up with an extreme case of bed head in the morning? These take care of that too, since you hair easily glides over the silk fabric. For those of you who have never tried silk pillowcases I would definitely say they are worth a try! For those of you who have, these are great quality and should last a long time if taken care of (care instructions do come with pillowcase).

Ah silk - so good for the skin and hair. I haven't had a sleep crease on my face since I started using these. I've given these as a gift and just ordered a second set after the first set I had wore out (after 2 - 3 years). The only drawback (and I would take back 1/2 a star for this) is that they have a fold-over flap instead of the standard open end on a pillow case. I consider this a drawback because my pillow is slightly smaller than the case and the fold-over end is loose enough to snag my hand. That being said, I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants the luxury and/or benefits of silk.

silk is expensive, but from what I have read it's the best for not over-drying skin and hair. while sticker-shock for a pillowcase is uncommon, I experienced it...but thought I'd try one anyway. It washes well (I throw it in the machine with the rest of my sheets, gentle detergent on regular cycle no fabric softener and then hang it to dry). no problems with washing. haven't noticed any miraculous improvements in my hair or skin, but it sure does feel nice to sleep on, so I have no problem with my little indulgence.

I really love my silk pillow cases for my hair, stopped the breakage, and for my skin, keeping in the moisture, but I now learned I prefer the zipped cases.

This 100% silk pillowcase feels great to sleep on,your face feels smooth in the mornings,thats the postive side.On the negitive side your hair is still a mess if not worst than before you bought the sillk pillow case but I still use it because of the softness of the face.Good price but I which it worked on both the hair and face together. the material is great ,so very soft. I still love my.
