Qatalyze Extra Thick 8mm TPE Yoga mat with Cover Bag and Strap, Extra Wide (66cm) Exercise mat for Men and Women, Non Slip, Strong Grip Premium mat (183cmx66cmx8mm)

The media could not be loaded. I don’t normally write such a detailed review but this one I am so happy with that thought it’s worth sharing ! I have previously used Amazon mat 13mm thickness and having now tried this I thought it would be useful to compare the two:Pros:1. amazon mat is made of NBR foam which feels spongy and thermocol like. It just sinks in and does not provide cushion for the knees. This mat has a good grip both on body and floor, has a nice rubber feel. Even though it is 8mm compared to 13mm , it provides much more cushion.2. Amazon mat after a couple of months becomes worn out and flattened with lots of marks. This one seems to be much more sturdy. I will repost after couple of months of use.3. Anti skid properties of amazon mat are not as good as this one so that mat keeps moving back and forth as I do exercises. See attached video. The red mat is amazon mat while the purple one is qatalyze mat. For easy reference I have marked it. That does not happen with this mat.4. This mat is wider at 66cm compared to 61cm for amazon mat so I don’t have to worry about squeezing myself on the mat as it provides more space.4. This is more expensive than amazon mat but if I have to replace amazon mat after few months then probably this may be cheaper over long term. Also the comfort for knees cannot be given a price.5. The embossed branding on Qatalyze mat looks and feels more premium.6. Bright and vibrant colours.Cons:Only two colour options at the moment while Amazon has 4 options. I would have liked to see more but what they have is nice still.Overall highly recommended.

Love love love this yoga mat! I really like that it’s longer, thicker and a bit wider than standard mats, I feel like I have enough room to properly exercise and not feel like I’m gonna go off my mat. On that note, I find it to be adequately non-slip, even when my hands or feet get a little sweaty (which is pretty much every time I work out or do yoga). The back of the mat is a different, “heftier” texture which helps it from sliding. It’s also the perfect thickness. I have knee pain so I wanted a thicker mat to add more cushion. So it has really helped me.It’s very lightweight and very easy to carry due to strap and the carrying bag. The carry bag quality can be improved.The bright colours make me feel motivated to exercise, it’s a strong and uplifting color but not too bright.Overall I’m very pleased with this mat. It’s a great price too for this quality so I’d buy it again

What I like- 8mm thickness. Feels very comfortable on the knees.- Extra width than other regular mats. Makes a difference.- No smell. Pretty good grip.- Red color on bottom is awesome. But the top Purple should have been darker.- You can feel the good quality.What can be improved- 2.5K feels a bit on higher side. Around 2k would be a great price- Would loved to have a graphic or line in the middle of the mat so that would be really good while doing asanas.Overall I really like this mat. Go for it.

This yoga mat really is as advertised - thick enough to be comfortable for someone with bad knees. It is also firm and the anti-slip aspect is effective. Nice strap and carry bag as well. Yes, it's pricey, but having bought a couple of cheap ones in the past, I'd say this is worth every paisa.

Using this mat since last 6 years.....best yoga mat you can buy for yourself. Life long companion. Best Cushioning, Grip ,High Quality, Durable mat. Good to go for.

Finally got to try my new Qatalyze mat yesterday. I have been using it for a week now and these are my observations.Firstly the colour combinations are awesome. I chose the purple and red one. Most yoga mats available in market come in dull and boring colours so this aspect has become an important factor for me to make the first shortlisted.This particular mat comes with both a sling to carry it along and a bag, which is again a rarity but yet a critical aspect.Coming to the thickness, it’s one of the thickets mats I have come across, the two sides are not just for aesthetics but has different texture depending on practice. I usually use the red side with friction (in pic) to do my yoga practice. The rougher texture promotes anti skid/slip.The smoother side, the purple one, is best for cardio and other regular exercises.What I did notice, which you can see in the video above is that there are no marks left after an intense cardio session with shoes on! The mat is not only thick, it doesn’t chip away!Overall, really satisfied with the product! Waiting to see more colours now

Quality is good but doesn't feel like 8mm..costly compare to other similar mats.no smell..bag is ok...

The matt wil wear off very soon. Already in 2 to 3 use it has got scratch, rubb off and doesn't seem to be sturdy.Had waited almost months to select my matt. And I had high hopes. It's comfortable, god color. But don't know for how long it will last and I feel I have be careful using this. Which is not cool.
