Great shoes, good shine, hard to break in
These are great shoes for someone looking for a shiny black leather shoes that holds its shine and is made of hard leather versus the soft that loses its shine. The one downside is the shoes are tough to break in, hopefully that means that last a long time.

I love them!!!
I love these shoes! Did I just say I love them? Well I do! I first ordered these shoes back in 2006 from Zappos and I had them for two years just having the heels replaced and having "taps" put on the heels. I ordered another pair and these ones where made in China, the first pair were made in South America. Then for some reason it was if these shoes dropped off of the map. I could not find them on any shoe site nor the Internet for about two years When my shoes were wearing at the soles I wanted to see if they were out there and "Voila!" I found them on Amazon, Zappos did not have them. I love these shoes, they go with everything I wear. I am a "shoe" person. I love to dress nice so me wearing this type of Oxford with Dockers or jeans are a "Great" combination.

Not the same.
Other reviewers have said that these shoes are being made with cheaper leather than previously, and I can't agree any more. They're a cheaper artificial leather. They definitely won't last me like the old rendition did. I had those for about 10 years and they were great. The shoemaker in town wanted $100 to resole them, so I thought I would just replace them with these. These are garbage compared to the previous version. Will they do for now? Sure. Will I buy them again? Definitely not.FYI - The brown ones are much creamier than in the picture - so note that they'll be lighter and very difficult to match with a belt.

Like them
I previously had a pair of Kenneth Cole Bow Flex shoes that I liked and wore out. That model was discontinued and this was the next closest thing. I ordered the same size as before and to my surprise these were just as big, if not slightly roomier. Unlike some of the others customers, I like the wide, boxy toe box which is actually better for the feet. The cushioning is adequate and they have been about as comfortable as their predecessor. I will try to report back as to the long-term durability.

Good shoes
on my case, the shoes started to break inside on my arch, but another friend use the same and he does not have that problem.out of that, good shoes.

Looking Good So Far
I owned the 2009 version of these shoes and they came apart at the heel. However, the 2009 shoes looked great and got a lot of compliments. I took the bitter with the sweet. I gave these another shot and the 2011 version is a little lighter and looks like a slightly different material but they are still shiny like the old version. So far so good with the 2011 versions. They look like a high dollar shoe and they stay shiny. If the heel comes apart then I'll update this review and rate it accordingly.

Cheap - soooo unlike Kenneth Cole
I have six pair of Kenneth Cole dress shoes, three are similar to these. Two of my previous pair were starting to look worn and I was looking for a replacement. These look exactly the same as the shoes I bought 2-3 years ago. To my surprise, the quality was nowhere near the same. Here are my issues with these shoes:1. These shoes are thin, no insulation and no cushion.2. They have the ugliest florescent blue lining I have ever seen. I would be ashamed to take my shoes off in the airport. Also, I think this lining would be visible if you cross your legs.3. After one wear, the Kenneth Cole logo inside the shoe almost faded completely.4. The worse part, they are completely uncomfortable. A callus wore on my small toe after one full day.Guess where these shoes are now. Not the garbage - Goodwill. I hope someone can use them.I tried to contact Kenneth Cole to discuss this quality issue. I assumed they had to be fake. I asked customer service if I could send them pictures; they refused to receive emails with attachments. Perhaps that is why I am now writing this review. I hope someone will benefit.

I love them
Kenneth Cole REACTION Oxford, the first pair of formal shoes I've had since high school, and I've found never any other formal style shoes that can match these. My first pair was made in Romania. Obviously they are made in China now. The stylish design and quality didn't change, and they are still my only choice of formal shoes.
