Takes more time than cutting with a knife. At first U'll have to cut the veggies(onion/carrot) into small pieces ( at least into 8 pieces).. and then put it in the chopper for fine dices. The jar cannot hold all the 8 pieces of a single onion at one go. So u'll have to add 3 at a time. By the time u add the 9th piece, the first 3 pieces gets mashed. So u'll have to take out the small diced pieces as soon as it is diced. I feel It s better to cut it with knife to get smaller dices.. spending extra 5 min is better than doing all these sorts of work. Washing and drying it, is another drawback. think twice and order!

Multi purpose- chopper, whipper, chutney maker.
Good product and was excellent to make red chilli and tomato chutney. Made it in a minute. Just pust reasonably sized peices of tomatoes l, red chillies and curd. Good for onion chopping. Vegetable chopping and whipping. The base become s lid if you want to store the container in fridge. Worth it. Just be cautious to put hooks in the slots and avoid any spillage and for safety. Morphy richards is good brand, but was made in China.

Never Ever Buy This!!
This is a useless product. Goes bad in after few uses and they don't have service. Charge for replacing the part is half of chopper itself. Never ever buy this.

Not enough capacity
The chopping bowl does not hold enough capacity to chop 1 onion in 1 go. The blade is fine but using this did not ease my chopping effort; infact chopping effort was increased since i need to empty the bowl after it has chopped half the onion and then fill it again and redo the entire process. Quite time consuming plus the plastic seems very degrade quality. The product is not worth buying, kindly refrain. I also thought that it being "Morphy Richards" might be the best quality, but it is the worth, rather go on and buy Orpat chopper, my mil has been using that for more than 2 years now and she hasnt ever complained about it.

Not for heavy use
The power and chopping ability of this is great, but after some months of heavy use (chopping nuts and other hard items) the spring mechanism stops working. That is, you need to press the top unit down for the blades to spin and after a while it begins to make a lot of noise and eventually stops working.
