Replacing fans for the H110 cooler
Wow. What a drastic difference these fans make over the stock fans that come with the Corsair H110 cooler. The stock fans made a horrible rattling sound that nearly drove me insane. When I first turned on the system after installing these I initially thought I forgot to plug them in they are so quiet. Peered in the system noticed they were running...ok so figured they were just on a low setting. I maxed them out and still hardly even a sound. Even with the rattling of the stock fans aside, these run SOOOO much quieter. For those who are plagued with the horrible rattle of the stock cooler fans, this is most definitely worth the current $30 price tag. I no longer want to harm myself. I write this review on my first day of having the product, so I cant speak for its reliability just yet. But judging by the reviews and comments so far I dont think that is going to be an issue. If you are reading this review because you were in a similar situation as I was, I just want you to know you will find inner peace knowing you wont hear that piece of **** rattling sound. I hope they replace all future water cooler fans with these.

Solid case fans, not super silent, moves good air, and look great.
Great fans - produce more light (ambient) than the SickleFlow 120 I had. They provide what feels like solid airflow through the front of my Lancool First Knight case - more so than the stock 140's that were in the case.As for noise levels, they aren't any more silent than the stock fans - so I would consider it a trade-off of more airflow for light-to-moderate noise levels. The closer image shows the ambient lighting a little inside the case (towards the rear). The fan in the upper rear exhaust is a SickleFlow 120, which really doesn't provide much ambient lighting compared to these SP140's.The top-down image gives a little more context with ambiance - the red lighting on the right side of the case is provided by other lighting I have set up around my computer area - the wall to the left of the case shows the actual light bleed out the clear case panel on the side. You can see there's a decent amount of light produced by these fans, and they don't only light up the blades(as is much more evident with the SickleFlow in my opinion).

... push air through my case's hard drive cages to cool them off (using Fractal Define R4
Using these fans for a small media NAS so I needed a high static pressure fan to push air through my case's hard drive cages to cool them off (using Fractal Define R4, fans are intaking on the front two 140mm points).Pros:Very quiet, especially at 5 and 7v settings. 12v setting is acceptable, you mostly hear the sound of the air and some fan hum.Reduced my hard drive temps 5-7'C compared to the original 140mm that came with the case, very good.Negs:The mounting screws included are flat screws. The mounts on my case (and most of my other cases and fans that I bought) are countersunk. This caused the dust filter over the fans to catch on the screws because they did not sit flush with the case. Luckily I had extra screws laying around.Other thoughts.I wish they sold these in a non LED version. I don't need LED lighting (especially in a NAS) and possibly saving $1-2 per fan would be nice.It would be nice if these had rubber mounts on the housing to reduce noise (although the fans are already pretty quiet).

they don't move a lot of air kind of like Noctua does
I've ordered a Corsair Carbide Air 540 about a month ago and it came with 140mm air flow fans that had LEDs in them. Ordering this was just the right choice to complete all my fan slots in my PC. I placed this in front where air is somewhat restricted by the filter that's protecting my PC from dust build up. Anyway, I've got this hooked up on a fan monitor and never usually ramp it up unless I need to. I'm docking one point because they are extremely loud when you've got them at 100% fan speed. Not only that, they don't move a lot of air kind of like Noctua does. But all in all, I just love how I've got a complete setup and that's all that matters.

I mean come on would it really increase the cost that much to use a sticker or even have it in the mold as they used to have it
I replaced all my Corsair fans in my case with two of these and 6 of the 120MM fans and they run so much quieter than the ones that came in my Corsair 500R Carbide ATX Case. My case sits 40" from my head and I can barely hear them running and they also do a bang up job of producing decent air flow. I do have one minor gripe and that is why do you not put the direction arrows on the body so that a person does not have to guess what direction the fan turns and the direction of air flow at a glance, I mean come on would it really increase the cost that much to use a sticker or even have it in the mold as they used to have it and did have like on the ones I removed from the case? Other than that detail there is nothing I can say to debunk anything about these fans!☺

Somewhat pricy, but worth it.
I have 5 of these on my rig currently, bought them about 5 months ago and they're still going strong, no signs of wear. I replaced some nautica fans I had on my rad with these and I'm very pleased with the improvement to the overall eye candy of my rig as well being able to pull a good deal of air and remain silent(@ 3/4 guesstimated speed). I got 24 fans in it overall, all Corsair SP 140/120mm and being able to move that amount of air they do with the only audible sound being the movement of air is awesome. Out of 24 I've only had to replace 1, due to a friend being dumb and poking it with his finger while it was running, sending a fan blade across the room in a rainbow like arc... and a few days later after I attempted super glue it back on.

Can't go wrong with Corsair Anything
I've been building custom systems for years. Corsair is the only brand of fan I use. My personal systems (two main ones) a gaming PC in my bedroom that's my wife and I use only to watch TV on and my Sim Racing PC. The one in my bedroom has only been turned off a dozen times in 10 years. It has six Corsair fans of which I've had to replace four. Not bad for 10 years running 24/7. I don't know the life span of a Corsair fan, but 8 of the fans lasted an average of 43,800 hrs and the 2 fans that are still running have been doing so for 87,600 hrs. What else could I say?

Decent enough
If you are buying this range always remember that neither the SP or AF versions are silent. In both cases they try to balance noise to airflow needs. Use the SP with restricted flow such as into hard drives and the AF for clear flows and exhaust. With that in mind I would still tend towards Arctic F range if look is not an issue for slightly better performance with less sound at a better price. But where I want to add a bit of static colour on a build these are a good choice for decent cooling rate. The 140s particularly are quieter than their 120 counterparts while maintaining decent airflow. If money no problem moving up Corsair’s range to the MLs is a better option, but for a single colour LED fan this does the job well. I’ve built a number of systems with both 120 and 140 SP/AF fans and they are still working well years later too.Doesn’t alter my basic position on fans being Artic F range for basic fan needs, Noctua for high end where looks/cost do not matter, and Corsair ML for looks and colours as main choice. But if you don’t want to pay twice as much for single colour LED or want RGB fans at even higher cost, can accept that you will hear the fan if wanting good airflow but want some colour added, as long as you make the right choice between AF and SP this is a decent fan that does the job at an acceptable price point.

The best I've had
I bought this with a few others to change the fan arrangement in my case. I used this as one of two intakes which blows through a single radiator (the other being the Air Flow variant which blows straight into the case) and it's really good. After swapping all my fans out for the new arrangement I saw my temperatures drop by almost 20 degrees all over - brilliant! The colour is really good too, the red shines through my dust filter nicely and gives the room an ominous glow when it's dark.I think it's great and even though there's alternatives, these are the nicest, quietest, and coolest.***If you found my review helpful please don't forget to mark it as helpful below, thanks!***

Red, Quiet & Cooling
Whether these are effective will be system independent and as they went into a new case, I don't have anything to compare them against. They appear to work well enough on my new Novatech mid-size case that has one fan pulling air in from the front and one blowing air out at the top. In addition, there is the CPU fan and a small Novatech fan blowing air out the back.I ran a video transcoding for 20 minutes and with the 4 core / 8 threads at 100% the temperatures reached mid 70s. Also, I was able to listen to the radio on quiet during this without the fans causing a distraction. The reason for the new fans was that most the fans on my old case had died and when running a video transcoding, I realised the CPU was reaching high 80s early into the process. The cases are of a similar size although the Novatech case has better cable management and therefore airflow. On this bases, these fans appear to do their job, are quiet and the red glow is cool (sorry bad pun) but not over powering like the blue LEDs on my old case.Whether they are better than cheaper models or good value for money, I can't really say - but I've used Corsair memory for years without a problem - so it's a Brand I'd trust and as fans help protect the expensive components in the system - hopefully it's worth investing a little more for good ones.

2 x Corsair White LED Fans in 1 Pack and just barely audible. Best bang for buck , imo.
These are 140mm Fans and you get 2 of the same color in each pack. You can choose between White, Red, Green, Blue and Purple for your Fan LED color. These fans spin at a nominal rpm of 1310-1380 and are 30 Decibels in loudness. I can put my ear next to the case and i can only just hear them, That`s the sound of the air moving. These are great for Intake case fans as they are decent for what you pay. Their are cheaper fans out their (£5-6 each), than these ones and more expensive ones (£15+ each), that cost you more than the cost of this pack with 2 for just 1 fan !! These work out £9 each at 2 in 1 pack for £18 (at the price of writing this). It would be nice if Cosair done the same model without the LED`s or a way to disable them without having to cut the wires to the 4 leds. I would buy more of these for another PC build as the quality is great, I rekon quality is the same as BeQuiet brand of Case Fans.

Cool runnings
I got this pair of fans as a replacement set for my stock fans on the Corsair 750D (stock fans started to make a high pitch sound and would stop spinning). Unboxed them and found that they were very well built and had some nice little features to help in performance. So when I was installing them I found that there was some nice little rubber dampeners that help in reducing the vibration being passed through the screws. The connection wire is 3 pin so they will be fine if anyone has 4 pin connectors on there pc.When they were installed they ran smoothly and found they moved a lot of air to keep your pc cool. So overall this was a great replacement set of fan and would definitely recommend them.
