New Car Is safer with this product
This is a great way to ensure your car is all the way in the garage. It took less than 10 minutes to hang and give me peace of mind when I am parking the car in the garage.

Needs brighter color
I wanted to use this product to help me with parking distance in my garage. Item works well but my garage is rather dark and the light from garage door opener doesn’t shine bright enough so I can see the ball until I’m right on top of it. Can’t change to a brighter bulb so I need to come up with another solution but I will keep using the product.

Gotta Get This!
This is by far the best thing I’ve ever purchased! Every time I drove in my garage, I nearly drove right into my washing machine! I wanted to be in the perfect spot so that there is enough room for me to get to the washing machine and there is enough room behind the car when I close the garage door. I ordered this and had them put up and it works like a charm. Currently, I’m not the only one who done this. I remember my mother having something similar in her house so I had to try it. my neighbor told me that all his clients have them. Who would have think it?

Great Idea, Overly Stretchy Lanyard
The Firefly Garage Parking Guide Tennis Ball Car Stopper on a String Parking Aid was easy to install. I simply parked the cars where I wanted them, used the provided tennis ball on a string as a plumb bob to identify the proper ceiling attach point for the provided I bolt, marked it, installed the drywall anchor and I bolt, and then added a screw to the metal top of my garage door to attach the other end of the lanyard for installation. I did have to trim the lanyard to length for the tennis ball to hang and touch the car's windshield at the proper location. When open, the tennis ball is supposed to hang to the designated spot, touching my windshield. When closed, the tennis ball retracts to the I bolt position at the ceiling. That's a great idea in theory. The tennis ball is stored neatly at the ceiling when the garage door is closed and lowers to the desired spot on the windshield when the garage door is opened. Here's the issue: the lanyard is intentionally elastic and is quite stretchy. On the plus side, the stretchiness keeps the tennis ball from tearing out the I bolt when the garage door closes. The horizontal run of the garage door’s movement is greater (7 feet) than the desired drop from the ceiling (3 ½ feet) to the car’s windshield. On the minus side, the stretchiness is not limited, and the tennis ball’s weight causes the lanyard to continue stretching beyond the desired location, moving the tennis ball down the windshield with subsequent uses, lessening the Firefly Garage Parking Guide Tennis Ball Car Stopper on a String’s effectiveness. Out of the box, this is not a good, long-lasting solution. For our part I will next double up the lanyard to see if that will preserve the desired tennis ball location on the windshield. If not, I am likely to simply suspend the ball from a heavy string from the ceiling I bolt and dodge it when the car is out for the garage. Best of luck with your garage car-parking solutions.

Great Guider!
Happy that I did not have to drive a hole in a tennis ball to make this. So convenient as it is already put together. I highly recommend this!

Works, but not well executed
It's a tennis ball, with an elastic cord attached. Pretty simple. The cord is a thin elastic cord, which is a bad idea. The attachment of the cord to the ball is good and sturdy. The provided eyehooks for attaching to the garage ceiling are tiny! They would only be useful if you have exposed rafters in the right location to screw them into. More often there is sheetrock on the garage ceiling, and these eyehooks are useless for that application.

Nicht empfehlungswert
Leider habe ich nur 1 Ball bekommen obqohl es klar 2 Sück abgebildet sind. Und die Rücksendung nach Las Vegas auf meine Kosten lohnt sich nicht.
