Turntable, arm and stylus are not good

Great gift for someone who has a music library that plays on different devices. Very nostalgic look.

I received the record player and set it up according to the instructions. The power indicator light was glowing, but the unit was unresponsive otherwise. I contacted Amazon for help and ordered a replacement. The second unit had the same problem, so I had to return that one, too. Fortunately Amazon makes returns so easy. Except for not actually functioning at all, the player is nice looking and appears well-made from the outside. I hope they sort out the problem.

It is an excellent item to have. Able to play cassettes, albums, cd which I never wanted to discard off. Love it

The unit was not packed in the original box. Unit looked like a returned item that was just shipped back out. Missing hinge screws, and various dings and dangs, forced me to send the unit back for an exchange. I am getting this for my 84 year old Dad, who has a BUNCH of old Cassettes, and vinyl records. He WILL notice the quality, and have comments on it.

I grew up on Vinyl and record albums and it was a totally different experience in every sense of the word. The look, feel, touch was all part of that experience. You sat down with the album, like a book, and marveled and in some cases, studied the artwork, lyrics, and content.Where this unit is different is that you can also play cassette tapes and MP3/CDs which is the best of both old/new worlds. The stereo and sound is good quality and the functions are easy to use. The phono turntable works great (even plays 45s). Where this unit had an additional edge was that you can also record CD/MP3/Cassette/Vinyl/AUX-In which was not an option on old classic stereo/Vinyl players.As far as the wood, it is not expensive or solid wood, in fact it is lightweight. This is MDF wood Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers... Overall I like the design and feel and as a music lover and collector it is great to be able to break out the vinyl again and relive some euphonious nostalgia. I only had one other issue on my unit.There were scratch marks on the side unfortunately which happened either on the manufacturing side or packing and shipping (I was able to cover them up-- but that is why I am nicking it one star).Overall great unit. Read the instructions carefully and enjoy!

Die Tonqualität ist zu ertragen, mehr aber auch nicht. Die Fernbedienung ist unterirdisch, es fehlt die Lautstärkeregelung (ja, auf die Idee muss man erstmal kommen das hinter einem langen Druck auf der Skip-Taste zu verbergen).Das CD Fach lässt sich nur via Fernbedienung öffnen und schließen, was manchmal recht unpraktisch ist wenn man gerade mit der CD vorm Gerät steht.Das größte Manko ist aber, dass sich seit kurzem die Anlage im Bluetooth-Mode einfach nach ein paar Minuten ausschaltet. Defintiv keine Kaufempfehlung.

Die Fernbedienung funktioniert nur in der Nähe (max. 50 cm)! Die Lautstärke springt nur in Dreierschritten und wird, falls das Gerät überhaupt reagiert, gleich zu laut oder zu leise. Die Bedienelemente am Gerät funktionieren nur teilweise, so kann man beispielsweise das Gerät gar nicht einschalten. Wir haben das Gerät gleich wieder zurückgegeben. Finger weg von Musitrend: Ärger gleich vermeiden!
