This is a great chocolate mold!
I needed this mold for "barn gifts" when people have birthdays, etc. Since I'm a raw vegan, I wanted to experiment making my own chocolates (which I had never done before). Well, every recipe I tried wasn't the best, but the mold still turned out perfect horses every time! I've finally found the recipe I like (maybe I should sell these horses?) but most importantly, the mold is what makes the entire effort superior. Easy to clean, and easy to use, even when I used too much chocolate. Once the chocolate was set, the horses were easy to remove from the mold and "over flow" is easy to cut or break away. Enjoy your mold!

We made the horses out of chocolates and even created different colored horses; white, light brown and dark brown. Milk and dark chocolate and the white melting candies as well. They were a hit and every one of the kids got theirs. Cleaned up easily. Made 4 batches and had no problems with the molds...did not bend or crack. Well made.

Nice detail, but a little hard to use.
Wanted to make chocolate horses for my granddaughter's birthday to go around the bottom of the cake. The detail on these is excellent but that makes it hard to remove the chocolate without breaking it. Be sure to use a little shortening applied with a fine-tipped brush into all the little crannies and then you should be ok.

Carousel horse cake was a hit!
I used these chocolate molds to make horses for a carousel-themed birthday cake for my daughter. I stuck the horses to the side of the cake with the frosting, and cut Twizzlers in pieces to make the carousel poles. I made the cake out of four layers, and it was the perfect height to be able to set the horses a little lower or higher, as if they were going up and down on the poles. The domed top of the cake was a giant rice crispy treat formed in my biggest bowl, turned upside down and covered with frosting. Then I decorated the whole thing with Jelly Bellies and other candies, and some sparkle cake writers. I made them by melting regular chocolate chips in the microwave, but if I had made them out of white chocolate chips the sparkle writers and frosting color dust stuff would have shown up a little better. Overall, though, a smashing success, and super tasty!I had the hardest time defending the extra ponies until I could finish decorating the cake! And each of the children was begging for a piece with the horse on it--I ended up dividing many in half, so there would be enough to go around. Plenty of dad jokes at the party about receiving a piece of cake with the rear end of the pony. Overall, a huge hit. At the time, I thought I was making a one-time purchase in pursuit of the perfect birthday cake, but now I have lots of plans for future cupcake toppers, etc. Using dark chocolate and bagging them up would make an elegant treat for an adult party or event, and using white chocolate with lots of sparkle frosting writers would make a fun kids' treat. So many possibilities!

One worked perfect but stayed a little soft
I had two different brands of chocolate. One worked perfect but stayed a little soft. The other got harder but then I had trouble with the neck breaking as I took it out of the mold. It looks very nice.

Came out perfect.
worked great... stuck a stick on the back (not a space to place thru bottom), added a small ribbon and used them for cupcake toppers. Nice size!! about the exact width of a cupcake and close to the same height as the cake part.

The detail is beautiful and the quality unbelievable for the price
I used these to make cute little horses for ice cream toppers since we weren't having cake. The detail is beautiful and the quality unbelievable for the price. Wait, did I say "little?" No, these are HUGE! Each horse is 3.5-4 inches wide!! Waaaaay too much chocolate for a four year old but you better believe all those kids thought I was the best mom ever!

Nice mold - lots of details
Purchased this mold for an activity with my niece. She brushed in with different colors of tempered chocolate and luster dust and I did the final filling and unmolding. No legs detached and nice details. Mold too flimsy when filled to capacity so don't expect to make shelled chocolates very easily.

Excellent quality horse mould
Another fantastic sturdy mould which produced perfectly formed chocolate horses for decorating a relatives cake. The horses were a good size and looked and tasted great on the final cake , would recommend to anyone doing a horse themed cake! Easy mould to store, clean and make perfect horses 5*
