Very pleased with product ans seals window very nicely

The silicone is a nice change from the typical rubber used in such seals. As a whole the seal works as expected.

I ordered this to replaced the door and window seals that needed to be a bit thicker as the UPVC doors and windows were had become bit out of true or misshapen over time.This was the thinkest I could find at short notice and has worked perfectly. Much cheaper than the DIY store stuff and also much thicker.It's quite easy to fit and I was pleasantly surprised at the tool provided to help push the strip into the UPVC channel. If you can find a point where you can push it in you could spray some silicon lubricant into the channel and pull it through otherwise you'll need to use the tool to ush the rubber in.

Fit exactly and stopped the draft.

I bought this to replace the existing seal on my windows as I was getting quite a bit of road noise coming through and draught. My existing seal was 5mm however I wasn’t convinced it was actually thick enough to seal the window so thought I’d look for an alternative. I came across this and was a little unsure about whether to try it as it’s quite a bit bigger than my existing, as it’s not ‘cheap’ as such, I was concerned about wasting my money. I’m so glad that I risked it though as it’s great. It comes with a handy little tool to get the rubber in, however with mine, I actually found it quicker squishing it in with my fingers. It looks as though it might be a be tough looking from the photo in my opinion but it’s actually really pliable and seals my windows tightly. My window is a little bit of a squeeze to get shut now but I expected that initially and I imaging it will lose some of its bounce once it’s been squished between the windows for a couple of weeks. Great buy!

I bought 2 packs of this and replaced all our bubble gasket on our Windows.It’s super easy to work with, great quality and the price is just fantastic.Our gaskets were flat and you could hear outside noise and feel a few draughtsWith the cost of Energy right now, the £39.98 that I spent on the 2 packs with be recouped very very quickly on having the heating set at a far lower temperature.We already have turned it down a lot, and the house is just as warm, and silent it’s blocked all outside noise.What a wonderful product!!!

Our uPVC French doors have never been right in 8 years, have tried adjustments and they just didn't work, the door just never being tight enough to the frame. So I thought I would give this a whirl, getting the chunkiest replacement seal I could find and it's done the job. This room used to be horrible to walk into on cold windy days but now it seems like any other room.The existing seal was not straightforward to remove, it wasn't using the same central slot that this replacement was using, it seemed to be integrated into the frame, so I had to cut it out with a sharp knife all the way round. This is no fault of this product of course.The other thing is it was hard to get around corners, I chose to bend it round rather than cut and butt them together, time will tell if it stays in place but it seems okay at present.

Only added to one window so far but will be doing more and possibly buying more if required.Not as easy to fit, as other users have suggested but that could just me me. I got a weird looking tool, not like the one in the advert.Would be nice to have an example video to watch, to see what I'm doing wrong. But the improvement in outside sound is massive which means there will be a great improvement in loss of heat.
