Electrified BP96-01472A-ELE29 Replacement Lamp with Housing for HL-S6187WX/XAA Samsung Televisions

Great Price ! Fixed Dim TV Screen ! At first had problem with Lamp. Tv making noise and no picture. Compared with old oem lamp was a little different. Reinstalled old lamp went in smooth and seated properly. Removed and installed new lamp again. Noticed it did not go in all the way and did not seat like the oem lamp. I was afraid to force it in at first. So I wiggled the lamp around & pushing in with a little force. Saw & Felt lamp seat, And was pushed in as far as oem lamp.Had Great Picture. So I put back on the cover. Then TV would turn off when I turned on TV within seconds. Then I thought great a defective lamp. So I took off the cover to inspect & found the bracket on the cover broke. So it wasn't pushing the safety switch on. Causing the TV to turn off. I ducked tape the switch down & solved the problem. I have an early model Samsung TV, The bracket is part of the cover & very hard to remove,install & easily breaks, Especially plastic old & brittle. Noticed they fixed this problem with newer TV's.They have a separate cover for switch. Still Working Great After 3 months !

My Samsung's picture had gotten really dim and I could barely see the screen anymore. I replaced the bulb with an easy walkthrough on YouTube and it's as good as new. The shipping took longer than I expected as i paid for 3 day but it took a week to get here. That has nothing to do with the product though. Overall, this was just what I needed.

I went to YouTube to see if anyone was having the same issue with their tv like mind. I found two videos and how to change the lamp. If figured I would spend less buying the lamp than having a repairman show up and charge me labor and for the part, the cost of a new tv. I got the lamp on the date it was schedules for delivery and within 5 minutes had it replaced and it worked. Tv picture is good as new. The cost at amazon way cheaper than buying factory.

It was easy to install. I only gave it 4/5 because I have only had one month of use. Only time will tell the real value. For the price it is worth a try. I am considering ordering another for future use.

Got it fast and got my TV Working again

The lamp was as described. I was able to open the back of my tv and just pop this right in. It was really easy, took less than 10 minutes and now my tv works like new!

bought too many of them

Don't buy from Electrified. The lamp came in a small card board box with newspaper as padding. I think a lamp should be delivered more carefully. I returned it and got my refund back but had to pay for the shipping cost to and from. $12 wasted. Just buy a better lamp else where.
