Easy to install, works good
Comes with a good selection of mounting hardware. The nut marked 'B' was what fit my Honda HHT35S trimmer with a M10x1.25 LH thread. I elected NOT to use the washer between the head and spacer as the instructions suggest, it just didn't make sense in this particular install. THe Honda spacer is splined to the shaft and thus must turn with the shaft. But... There is a chance of the head slipping on the spacer and 'friction welding' the plastic head to the spacer, I don't concider this to be a bad thing, you make your own choices. The original set of blades did a fine job for an hour or so of cutting grass and small blackberry shoots. Then I got into some blackberry shoots about the size of my thumb. The blades shattered at that point. I have another blade system that's made of steel that I'll install to attack the larger blackberries.Blades are very easy to change once you figure out how to do it.

works well
Fits well. Works great on tough weeds and vines. Long grass does get tangled up in the blades and sometimes needs to removed by hand.

Takes the thicker stuff down with ease
The wide yellow blades define the cut path and make it easy to see where the edge is when cutting. It went through raspberry canes without hesitation. Overall pretty good but a couple of small caveats. This thing throws rocks fast and at distance. Standard trimmer line doesn't do much to a rock/gravel but this sends that stuff flying. Watch out, legs toes, eyes. I found out the hard way cleaning up the edges of a gravel driveway. Also its not that great around obstacles at least not to the level of stabndard trimmer line.

This works GREAT!
I have a Stihl FS240 brush cutter. I really like this brush cutter head. I have a lot of light brush, including some small alders and willows, to cut around my house with many rocks and large pieces of wood hidden in the brush. In the past I used a metal cutting blade. By the time I finished I was always unable to avoid hitting some of the rocks; so, the blade would always have many small dings requiring me to sharpen it after each use. I have used it for at lest 10-12 hours, and have cut a large amount of the brush. This has really worked well. I have only had to replace one of the cutter blades after striking a large tree. The blade was very easy to change. I have cut many of the small willows and alders without any problem and the blades have hardly any wear on them. The only downside of the item is that the metal washer that came with it had too small of a hole to fit over the shaft the cutter attaches to. I fortunately had some washers with a larger hole and was able to get the head attached.I am very happy with this cutter and it has worked as advertised and has prevented me from having to keep sharpening my metal blade.I highly recommend it.

Fabulous if you store your blades in water.
I use homebuilt Gast 1AM/1UP trimmer that is a bit anemic on power. I've used the Gas Gator for 3 years now, and I must say it is a great trimmer head once I started keeping the blades in a container with water. The nylon then stays strong and flexible and last a long time. Without keeping the blades hydrated, they break very quickly. They cut well with notably less power than a dual string head.I also think the design is quite good and has been durable on my challenging gravel studded dirt yard, which has worn out many string heads.Keep those blades in a jar or other sealed container with water. If you have to use them in a hurry, simmer them in a pot of water for an hour. They are most long lived if you just store them in water. I'm in the high desert of AZ. I have the same embrittlement issues here for nylon trimmer string, and nylon zip ties. I keep my string line and grass gator blades in a sealed bucket with water all year round. The Grass Gator blades last 4x longer or more when stored this way.

Good for open brush cutting but not up against fence
Easy to install, blades change out simple enough. I have a . 25 acre lot with a wooden fence and my house is stone and brick. The blades if pushed to close to the fence pull the head down into the grass. Similarly when against the brick and stone. Also the blades wore out half of their length in it's first use.Chunks of plastic flew off at times. Wear glasses when using. The pulling and chunking slowed me down getting the weed eating done. Trying to go slow to not scalp the grass and or damage the blades by hitting the fence or masonry. With that said, in areas where I had high brush and no "wall/fence" it worked great. It does chuck more rocks than a traditional stringer one. So be careful and wear pants too.I really don't like leaving poor reviews. But I had hoped this would have worked out a little better. If you have an open lawn with trees and brush areas I would imagine this would be much better than a string trimmer. The cost wasn't so much that I feel I got cheated or a bad deal, I just don't have the set up that would allow this head to function efficiently.

Great Product! Beware of Fakes
The Weed Warrior brand is top-notch. I recommend ONLY using their Blades. I bought a set of 6 extra blades from Walmart for less than $10.00 then I purchased 100 blades for $7.00 from Amazon. BIG MISTAKE! Pay Walmart or you will be changing blades every 100' or so.

Saves a lot of time especially if you get the thought blades as the footrest ones did not last long but unit is great

NOT universal fitting outside USA
Did not fit my Ryobi one+ trimmer. No instructions for any models that dont have the top side of the spool head accessible. ALL the instruction videos are US guys using trimmers that DONT have protectors above the spool as is common in AUS.

Trimmer head
This trimmer head is easy to install on weed eater , the blade are easily changed out when damaged .The trimmer works better in long brush then on light grass .The blade will damage siding if your not to accurate .

20v Dewalt install
Bought it for my 20v Dewalt trimmer(the older non folding one). Once you find the proper nut in the kit for it you're pretty much done. It installs in seconds no tools needed. The initial performance is excellent, it still has lots of power for trimming with the new head. The overall head size is smaller and the blades appear shorter but because of that it has more cutting force then the origional head did. Cuts better now than it ever did before.

It's not as advertised
This product was as good as advertised, the blades broke fast & weren't durable, waste of money. The only good thing about this product was the ease of replacing the blades. Aside from that, I went back to using the line method. I wouldn't of wasted my money if I knew how this product was. Not impressed by the advertised quality of a product that didn't last, unlike most line products.
