Galactomyces Niacin Special Treatment Essence

This just arrived so I wanted to do a first impression review for anyone just as indecisive as me. I debated getting this for a good couple of weeks because I saw reviews saying they didnt get the right product, or something what wrong with it. So I wanted to share my tidbit. Looks like my bottle is authentic. The packaging was nice and sealed, and it includes the manufacturing and expiration date on the bottom of the box. My only complaint is that it didn't have a little section in english to explain the product and directions, but I was able to find it online. The bottle looks like the one advertised, and I'm glad it was a glass container. It opens up easily, and the dropper is simple to use.The consistency is watery, but has a slight viscosity to it, so it goes on smooth and spreads nicely. Of course I'm not going to see results after using it once, but I did notice that it's pretty hydrating.I was drawn to this product not only because of the fermented ingredient, but because it doesnt have a scent, and the ingredient list is very simple. It didn't irritate my skin, so I am excited to see what this will do for my down the road.After a month or two of using it I will update this review

I'm a POC with oily acne-prone skin. Any inflammation leads to PIH (post-inflammation hyperpigmentation). It takes several weeks to heal. I watched one of Gothamista's videos and decided to give this a try. I started using it a week ago during an active hormonal breakout. I immediately noticed that my skin was healing faster than normal. Over the following days, I found that the spots that healed weren't nearly as brown as they would have been. I'm really excited to see how this product will work over time. I'm already very pleased with the results.

I did some pretty in depth research on Galactomyces and Niacin and I found that these ingredients are a MUST have in your skin care regime. Galactomyces is simply fermented sake from the fungus family (yeast ferment)... yes, I said fungus! This product is a "whitening essence" ... "Essence meaning a watery substance that is easily absorbed in the skin" and "whitening is not exactly like the term you would think with bleach .. but in skin care, it means to "brighten". So this product is an easily absorbed serum used to brighten your complexion. The Naicin helps hyper-pigmentation, brightens skin tone, hydrates and improves the skin's barrier, fights wrinkles, increases collagen and also fights off acne even better then acne medications and antibiotics! So this Niacin is packed with so many benefits. There are so many studies on these two ingredients to back this up. Count us lucky to have this affordable product since other similar products with these ingredients are costing you a few hundred dollars.I wanted to use this product for a few weeks before reviewing and my results are absolutely stunning! My skin absorbs this serum like a sponge ... I apply it twice a day after I exfoliate/cleanse in the morning and before bed. I typically apply this while I am in the shower and let it sit on my skin and absorb since that is when your pores really open. I was seeing results in a week .. but after 3 weeks my skin was just glowing! I have a clear and hydrated complexion, my skin is firmer and very smooth and my blotchy red areas are significantly disappearing. If you have other facial serums and moisturizers ... apply them after you apply this product for better absorption. Since this is an essence, you do not need to apply any more than a few drops. Just take note that there is a strong scent that is similar to bleach .. but I promise there is no bleach in this ... and if you apply this to skin after you exfoliate, while you are breaking out or have open skin (nics or scratches) this WILL BURN and it does not feel pleasant. I apply a Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid serum and Retinol serum (at night) on top of this followed by a CoQ10 moisturizer.

I’m in my late 20s, normal to dry skin. I had seen this product pop up in a few different forums and was curios so I looked at probably every YouTube and google review I could. (Spoiler alert, Youtube was not very helpful.) after using the first night I woke up the next morning and was like “wow my skin is looking GOOD!” I decided to start out only using at night to try and ease into it. After about a week I decided to do it in the AM and PM and that’s when I really started to see the difference! I then started to think it wasn’t really doing anything after a few weeks so I discontinued and was so upset with myself. I noticed this product did help to minimize the size of my pores (not completely obviously but noticeably) and also just made my skin over all a little brighter. One thing I can suggest is try using 2-4 drops instead of what’s circling around the Internet (something like 7??) because not only will you use up the product faster but you’ll be wasting product and may cause it to leave a weird film on your skin. I use 2-3 drops and then tap it into my skin, wait a minute, and continue with the rest of my routine.Since this has ferments and niacinimide in it I’m not sure I would recommend to someone with senesetive skin. If you do have sensitive skin you probably should patch test.

I'll start off with a disclaimer that I use 5-6 face products at any given time and sometimes it's hard to attribute any changes in my skin to one thing in particular. However, after I started using this galactomyces essense (and it's been a few months now), I really can't say I've noticed any difference good or bad. The good news is that I feel like this product is inexpensive enough to try out without breaking the bank, and based on other reviews it seems to work better for some people. But it didn't seem to do anything for me.
