Elzetta ZFH1500G AR15 Tactical Flashlight Holder, Green

First I have to say that once I got it mounted, the Elzetta ZFH1500 looks and works great. Rated 4 instead of 5 stars due to difficulty of assembly. The first difficulty was due to my MagPul MOE handguard, which flares a bit over the front sight base/bayonet lug. The Elzetta flashlight holder does fit this arrangement, but you have to snake each half under the lip of the handguard. This make the assembly sequence harder -- getting the sizing adapters (which fit into recessed grooves) and flashlight into the holder halves while on the gun and unbolted is tricky enough, then you have to squeeze this handful of parts close enough together long enough to get the screws started. I cross-threaded one of the hexnuts my first attempt and it wallowed out the nut recess of the holder. I ended up using a couple of small lightweight C-clamps to hold the assembly while I inserted and tightened the fasteners. I first tried this out with an inexpensive UltraFire CREE flashlight, but it's button was too recessed for the sling swivel to switch it. I replaced it with a Surefire G2X that works fine in the Elzetta (the best fit for the G2X is to use only one of the sizing adapter halves, ribs removed). Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, but the Elzetta could have been engineered for easier assembly.

Does the job. Love the color! My Instructor did not put in the second black grip that keeps the light from moving around in Flashligt holder. He couldn't fit it in there and expect the flashlight to fit. I have AR-15 (Bushmaster)... .flashlight is on now and works great.....

Mounts my Surefire G2 Nitrolen to my AR15 perfect, and the color is pretty close to my Magpul OD furniture.

It took a while for me to get the right pieces cut out so it would hold my flashlight, but now it holds the light very securely.
