it looks great
I like the color. I like that the shelves are movable. I like how sturdy it looks. I would have given 5 stars except for two things: 1) the thin board that covers the whole back did not fit correctly. I had to angle it so that at least a thin part of it rested on a board so I could nail it. 2) That same board is folded like an accordion in the box and so once it's all put together, you can see the creases. However, once you load it with books and what not, it's not as noticeable.

Sturdy. Good value for the price
I ordered two of these Pros: inexpensive and attractive, good weight-bearing abilities with no sagging. I think would be excellent for a room children frequent as they could not pull the shelves over.Cons: because of rather thin particleboard backs, don't know if they would withstand a move. Slightly more narrow than one could hope for for a fairly large number of books All in all considering the price I am pleased with the purchase.

Pretty nice bookcase
I got this to go downstairs with my "2nd" entertainment space. I replaced an older bookshelf with this one because it matched my other furniture and was also slightly larger as I wanted to put my record player on top. Works well and looks great! Hold all my Warhammer 40K books on the top two shelves, my records on the bottom shelf, and my record player with a lamp on top. Pretty good shelf for the price. Wasn't too difficult to assemble and looks nice!

Wait and see
I misunderstood the ad. I was excited that Better Homes and Gardens put their name on these, but they are Sauder bookshelves, and engineered wood means particle board. I like the color and they were easy enough to assemble, but the jury is still out as to their durability.

Good quality except for the trifold cardboard back.
Good quality for the price, but the back is a cheap piece of trifold cardboard. It would look so much nicer if the back were a little more solid, or at least didn't have the folds.

Good bookshelf....great customer service
The color of the book shelf is so pretty. There was a slight issue with some of the laminate peeling that made our son disappointed when he got it but after reaching out to the seller they did everything to make it right. Good customer service goes a LONG way and I feel speaks highly of a company. If you ever have any issues be sure to reach...

Less than I bargained for...
I thought buying above "wally-world-grade" would provide better quality and/or simple assembly. WRONG. Not sure if it is in the specs, but this is entirely particle board. (Very nice finish and design though.) Even so, the pieces are incredibly heavy. (Pro: It's sturdy, maybe? Con: It's heavy!) Unfortunately, most of my pieces came with the edges already showing wear and distress. (See photo) But I couldn't ever test the utility of the shelves, as I could not complete construction. The instructions state not to use power tools, but some of the screws simply will not go in by hand, or are at near impossible angles/spaces. Difficult, to say the least.

I'm very pleased with my purchase
First, I'm very pleased with my purchase. The instructions were very detailed and assembly took less than half an hour. The bookcase is very sturdy, as I have all my books on it and haven't had any issues. It looks even better than the one in the picture.
