Color is a deeper purple which works well in the room for which it was purchased. Very pretty color and it is comfortable. The chair is very light in weight and smaller, not as heavy as I expected. May not work as well for heavier/taller people ( I am 5'4" 140 lbs). But overall I am satisfied. It was more of a centerpiece for the room so it is not used much.

Great value and looks great as an occasional accent chair.
