Rubie's Men's Guardians of the Galaxy Star-Lord Costume

Bought this for my husband who is just reaching extra large size. I didn't want to have it arrive too small, even though the size chart had chest sizes, I wasn't sure it would fit his mid section, and I'd been bit ordering the 'correct' size online from other places before. Not this time I knew better, I'd order the Extra large, so it wouldn't be too small. Ha, joke was on me. The extra large is just that, EXTRA large. It sagged off his shoulders, but thanks to some double stick tape we made it work. It's a nice thick vinyl that hangs very nicely. The details on the lapels are delicate. Definitely wouldn't be seen in dim light. The helmet is pretty cool. It's open on the top and the back. We used some wash out spray hair color to turn my hubby's hair from brown to blond. Worked great. The light up eyes are awesome. All in all very happy with the item. If I'd ordered the correct size it would have been better. Trust the size chart and order accordingly.(Guitar and band do not come with the product.)

As a halloween costume, my expectations are not high, but considering the price I paid for it, I am more than happy for what I received. Heck, I didn't realize this costume came with a mask! Remember, it's a costume, not a cosplay outfit.As per the review, it doesn't really look like the picture. It's more of a simple red/brown and black, not the purple/black that you see. It's also a bit looser as well, but as a Halloween costume, don't expect a tailored fit unless you get it done yourself. The little pieces tacked on such as the shoulder pad, arm piece, and belt are pretty loose and seems to be made of some cheap, foam-like material, but hey, it works and looks pretty good.The mask is large, but it's pretty decent. It doesn't have any of the cosmetic issues I've seen on other Starlord mask reviews.Overall, I'm really happy with it. Mostly because no stores near me have this, and it made it here on time for Halloween.

A bit pricey, but it did the job for a costume party and dance. Fit is true to size.

This is a great costume! So great in fact that I’ve used it for for like 4 years lol. Showed up on time, with all the pieces, fit as expected and feels durable. The eyes light up but only issue is that when it’s cold outside they fog up. I fixed that by drilling tiny little holes at the bottom of each eye plastic piece.

It works! The coat is the standard dress type costume, but it is a reverse dress, meaning it fastens in the front instead of the back which is a huge plus when trying to get this on and off. I am 210 lbs with a 45 inch chest and it is a snuf fit on the chest, but loose elsewhere. It has front Velcro fasteners and it needs one more for a complete closure, but that is an easy fix. Decorations on both the front and back, everyone yells out starlird or starts singing from the sound track as you go by.The mask is a simple Velcro band that may not last long, but it looks good. As a balding man I wear a cheap Halloween wig with this and it looks great! No problem seeing out the red eye covers of the mask with or without glasses on. Worth the price.

Based on some of the photos I was expecting more of the pieces to be 3D molded and less just screen printed on the back. That said, the front and arm bits that are molded look very good for a costume. The mask is plastic and wasn't up to par considering the price. We also bought a Drax costume and at least that one had a rubber mask that was more sturdy.

I am 5 foot 7 inches and it is a little long on me. It come down to my ankles. I was expecting that. what was nice was that there is a lot of shoulder and neck room. so it is comfortable to have on. mask is a little cheap but for the day or 2 it will be on it will work.

Should have considered the fact that it is one size when ordering. This costume is oversized intentionally to fit the much larger folks.I am 5'7" 140 lbs and very lean-muscular and have a medium/large hat size. I bought this costume assuming I'd have to trailer it slightly (slim-up the waistline, shorten the length an inch or so) as I have done this for similar superhero costumes in the past. But the jacket is very loose and way too long for me. And given the positioning of the belt-wrap tailoring to my dimensions is too difficult. The mask is also an oversized plastic molding with no flex or bend to it. The mask is very much larger than my head and face and almost looks as big as a storm trooper mask. The picture for the costume is misleading and should not be a deciding factor in purchasing this product.I gave one star because the mask size is misleading, and the jacket is truly made to fit a size 44 person as a loose/relaxed fit. And anyone under a size 44 may just look silly in this thing. Did not work for me.Needless to say, you get what you pay for...

Es un buen disfraz; de buena manufactura; pero, solo lo aguantaras bien si la reunion es en exteriores, porque la ser de materiales plasticos, sudas bastante.

il costume aveva uno scatolone grande, la busta all'interno era aperta... il costume era stato mal piegato e imbustato frettolosamente, quindi alcune cose rigide erano deformate, ho dovuto inventarmi stratagemmi e farlo modificare per renderlo accettabile. potevano sistemarlo un po meglio nel cartone e non si sarebbe deformata spallina e copribraccio, tanto comunque la busta era aperta...almeno non si sarebbe rovinato! se non avessi avuto fretta lo avrei rimandato indietro. quindi non sono soddisfatto.
