Badgley Mischka Women's Pearson D'Orsay Pump

I was in love with these shoes the moment I opened the box, but I had to return them. I bought them for an ivory evening gown and the shoe "vanilla" color does not complement my outfit. Next to my dress, the shoes took on a pale, pale gold hue and my dress fabric looked nearly white. Prior to my purchase, the "made in China" made me question the shoe quality. Now that I have them I see the quality is phenomenal. The D'Orsay pump style is my favorite pump style because it is almost always so flattering to my foot and this is no exception. However, although this shoe is the correct length, I found that with the Pearson, my foot slides forward as I walk and pushes into the toe box - ouch. Plus there is barely any cushioning in this shoe's foot-bed. I tried adding a set of Foot Petals Tip Toes Ball of Foot cushions, but they did not help with the slide or my discomfort. If I were keeping this style, I might have tried the C width that is offered plus a gel ball of foot cushion. Overall though, the Badgley Mischka Pearson pump is a gorgeous well made shoe and they are worth the splurge.

These shoes are absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to wear them for my wedding in June. The brooch is stunning! My only complaint is that the ruched material is not tacked down so when you slide your foot in and out you have to situate the fabric so the raw edges do not show. For a shoe in this price range, I feel that is a bit disappointing.Size and fit-wise, I am very happy with these. I have a very wide foot and usually wear a size 10W so I ordered an 11. I think I'll be able to wear these for quite some time throughout my reception but I may keep a back up on hand just in case. You will also need to walk around to break them in prior to wearing. I have a high arch and these did feel very supportive.Overall, it is a stunning shoe with pretty good support. Quality could be improved, but it will get the job done for what I need these for.

Update: Embellishment on shoe lost a major stone after first wearing. On close examination I could see the prong was missing, and the little bag of "extras" did not include this stone. I was lucky to find it - in my own closet which means it literally fell out when I laid the shoe on its side. Needless to say, this is beyond disappointing in a shoe that costs this much. I'd still give them 3 stars for comfort and appearance, but I'm taking away stars for quality in correlation to cost.Original review: The reviews which recommended purchasing one half size up were spot on. I was skeptical but now I am happy I trusted them. I ordered the 6 1/2 even though literally every pair of shoes I own are a 6, and they fit perfectly. These shoes are heaven. The charcoal color has a bit of a purplish hue to it, but I think this makes them more spectacular and not "matchy matchy" with the charcoal gray dress I am wearing. I considered the black but these shoes are too special to go the conservative route. They give the appearance of being stiletto height when in fact they are a comfortable 3 inch heel. Well worth the price, just wish I could think of a reason to buy a second color. (Needless to say after losing the embellishment on the first wearing I'm glad I fought off this urge.)

Ordered a 6 wide after reading complaints of a narrow shoe. I don't usually wear a wide width but they fit perfectly. I do usually wear a 5.5 in dress shoes, but sometimes a 6 will run small and will fit. Unfortunately this is not that 6. So for me they're a little bit big, maybe less than a half size? I could probably switch to the standard width but I'd be worried they'd be to narrow and I wouldn't be able to wear them all night. They're literally the most stunning pair of shoes I've ever owned. I love that they came with extra heel caps and jewels for repairs. The leather sole feels amazing and they're of superior quality. I'm going to keep them and see if I can try heel grips to make them work. Too gorgeous to pass up! The vanilla color is a nice lighter champagne color. My dress is ivory and I didn't want to be too matched, can't wait to wear them on my wedding day.

I bought these to wear on my wedding day with my champagne/ivory dress. Fits as expected. I have narrow feet so the shoe fits fine. Heel height is perfect, not too short or too high. The shoe looks beautiful. My shoes came with extra diamonds in case any fell off. Although I bought the shoe for a great price, when they came in they looked like they were the shoes on display and were worn a couple times. Other than that, it would have been 5 stars. I've walked around the house in them to break them in a little bit. Shoe seems to slip off sometimes, probably due to my very narrow feet. I will probably add some padding to the sole of the shoe to keep them in place while I walk.

The shoes are gorgeous and the price was great. However, they had clearly either been tried on several times before or had been returned. The bottoms were a little scuffed and the inside if the box had clearly been unpacked (tissue paper was not in the shoes and was torn, etc). They were also a little smaller than I expected. Regardless, the price was great so I'm keeping them and the wear and tear isn't something that will be noticeable when wearing them, I just thought I was ordering brand new shoes and that isn't exactly what I got.

I ordered the shoes for my wedding in August 2014. The shoes are absolutely beautiful, just like in the picture.I ordered one pair of Badgley Mischa shoes before, although different design. The size was 9, as it was the recommendation, and it appeared to be half a size too big, but I decided to keep them and give to my sister (she will be delighted).So these shoes I ordered my normal size, 8.5, and they are a hint too small. Or maybe it just feels so, because the opening where the toes come out is quite sharp and is compressing. Anyway I can still wear them, but definitely not the whole evening. These heels are absolutely beautiful, my only complaint is that they are a bit of a narrow fit. I'm hoping that they will fit more comfortably once I break them in.I bought these in size 7 as that is what I normally wear, although I feel that going a half size larger might've helped with the width issue.All in all I'm happy with my purchase!!

Great shoe. Just didn't ended really loving the style or color (too yellow) in person.

Usually I'm an 8.5 or 9 shoe size, so this 8.5 wide was perfect! I don't have super wide feet and these fit well, so if your feet are wider then these might still be too narrow. Love the quality and packaging!

The most uncomfortable shoes I have ever bought, and I even tried for 3 months to break them in. Don't do it!

Son unos zapatos hermosos, vienen con su costalito protector y repuesto de tapas. El tacon es justo lo que buscaba, porque es comodo y no tan alto. Es una pena que los haya tenido que regresar porque me quedaron grandes.
