Nunn Bush Men's Stroll Lace-Up

These were purchased to replace a much-loved pair of Nunn Bush Rainier shoes, which were discontinued in 2009.Buying shoes online is a hit-or-miss experience, especially when comparing an older, made in U.S.A. model to newer ones which may have been designed with a different shoe lathe (i.e.: from China).However, after speaking with a knowledgeable and friendly representative from Nunn Bush, I settled on this model over the Colton due to the width of the toe box and the heel comfort being more similar to the Rainier.I am very pleased with the look, fit and all-day comfort of these shoes. I probably could have ordered a 1/2 size larger, but these will break in a bit, and I was, after all, used to wearing VERY broken-down, 10-year old shoes ;) The price here was better than in local shoe outlets too, which is why I took the chance of ordering online in the first place.

I have been wearing Nunn Bush men's lace up shows for years (different names but same basic style). I love these shoes, they are so comfortable and work perfect if you are on your feet a lot. Additionally these particular ones work great for walking, I walk every day at lunch when at work and I don't even change into my sneakers any more, I just go for my walk. Fit my feet perfectly and the added cushioning is a real treat even when I'm not on my feet long. They work great for traveling on business, light and comfortable and professional looking. Great price too.

I saw this shoe at a shoe store called Shoe Dept. they had it for $30, The size I needed in black they didnt have, but in brown. I tried on the brown and it felt great, but the brown was ugly, I wanted black. So I go on line and find the black for more than twice the $30, and I purchased anyway. I walk alot at my job and they feel pretty good. I would buy another pair for $30 not $70, which is what I paid.

Nunn Bush Men's Stroll Lace-Up is perfect for what I needed. That is, a great walking shoe that could be worn with slacks and be nicer looking than my New Balance walking shoes. I now feel more dressed and appropriate for the nicer occasions. The fit is perfect. The look is a more dressy but still a great walking shoe. The heel is 1.25 inches; I would prefer 1.5 because I am 5.7 which makes me a little shorter than the average business man. I will still wear my New Balance for real hiking, but Nunn Bush for casual and dressy shoe wear.

These are very lightweight shoes, and like most shoes these days seem a little more flexible in the soles than I would like. Other than that and the fact that they are a little wider for my narrow feet than I would prefer, they are quite attractive and seem well made.

Works well for me in a health care environment, on feet a lot. Wide size is just wide enough. Hold up pretty well but not going to last more than a year or so as this is my second purchase of same shoe in 13 months. But for the money and comfort, good quality.More expensive experiences/brands in the past have had less satisfaction.

These may be the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. Wore them straight out of the box and they fit well, did not make my feet sore and provided good cushion. I'm on my feet a lot and these keep me comfortable all day. I have an easy shoe size to find and fit so I can't speak to how these would work if you have an unusual foot size, but they sure work for me and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another pair.

My husband has no time for shopping. If he did, he'd still do something else. But he asked for shoes to wear for work. He works in creative settings from concrete floors in a studio to a steaming asphalt parking lot to meetings with clients in his office. He is very happy with these because they're quite comfortable, look great with khakis, and are very well made of quality materials. We thought the price was reasonable. They arrived very promptly and in perfect condition. Thanks.
